Is it a requirement for these ass clowns to be condescending, rude dicks to the those they interview? Is this the norm at Bard? I'm dead serious- do they train their managers to be disrespectful?

What division did you interview with?

I won't go as far as the OP with the name calling but I too had an unorthodox interview over the phone where I was hung up on intentionally in what I believe was a test of my patience.

Maybe each of you has too much self worth to work at Bard and they prefer someone that will bow to them. If this is a reflection of the company culture then call it not a good fit and move on.

Would love to know what division you are interviewing with. I'm going through the process too.

You better get used to that behavior if you are hired. The culture here is terrible at least at BPV but I have heard the same about all of them. Bullying, Passive aggressive, extremely condescending, name calling, etc.. I am not joking in the least bit. I have never seen a company ran this way with the approval and directive of this behavior coming from the top level management and certainly the RM's have their minion DM's dishing it out daily. In over 20 years in device I have never seen people treated so poorly. I hope that BD realizes the "bomb" they are sitting on when this ever hits the news networks. I know dozens of people that are documenting everything from pushing LifeStream ahead of launch to all the crooked Lutonix deals. Lets see what happens to that stock then.

Passive Agressive is the best way to describe DM’s at Bard. Most of them manage with menacing emails and text messages.

why does it take so longer to hear back? how long is the process for territory manager spots? any advice?

Advice - yeah - run! Bard/BD is a joke. Terrible morale, and the majority of the DM's are complete and total tools - especially the DM in the West. Couldn't manage his way out of a paperbag.

    "goood, good, stuff"

Bard stone division is dead. Do not even think about interviewing.

Anyone working there with half a brain can see that this division is finished. Another rep left this week - and PZ even sent an email to him saying "I hate to see you go, but I completely understand why you are leaving." What does that say about the state of things?

And it begs another question: How is the West District Manager still there? He's only got 4 reps right now. One of the other managers could easily "manage" those reps. There's nothing to do/sell anyway, with no contracts.

    Interviewed today.

Definitely condescending and rude! I'm actually appalled.

Interviewer was not understanding my questions and pretty much accused me of not listening multiple times, when in fact said interviewer was just hearing what they wanted to hear in terms of my questions.

Interviewer asked why I would leave the great company I'm currently working for.
After reflecting on how rude they were --- there's no way I'm leaving my current job to work for BARD/BD.

I don't know if the interviewer was trying to be tough to see if I could handle it.... but it wasn't cool. It's never cool to be rude. Find someone else to take your beating, because it won't be me.

Just curious what position/division did you interview for?

I've found over the years that asking some questions during interviews can go a long way in helping me make a more informed decision about an opportunity.
    * why is the current position open?
    * how long has the territory been open?
    * how do you like to communicate with your reps?
    * how do you identify and communicate opportunities for improvement? email? person? phone?
    * what is your overall management style? one size fits all, or tailored to each individual?
    * are you open to receiving my thoughts and insights into your management style, from my perspective?
    * what is the average tenure of reps here?
    * what is the average tenure of reps that you supervise?
    * where do you see yourself in 3 years? where do you see me in 3 years?

I think you may be too delicate for Bard. Go find somebody wearing a safety pin.

I wore an underarmour jock strap with game day cup to my interview and told the dm to kick me in the jimmy.. he broke his foot, but hired me on the spot.
