Same. The question is how do reps take action against this so companies stop spending so much on shitty recruiting agencies?

Undermanagement here has little or no pharmaceutical experience. Really weird. There is no balance between senior management and them. Never seen anything like it.

Extremely inexperienced management and really inexperienced middle management! Very bad decision makers. Pretty sure they are in business now to make as much money for themselves (mgrs and middle mgrs) as possible and let the pieces fall where they may. No respect for any employee either! Bad bad place to be! Stay far away!

I am interviewing for a manager level role with Xeris. Before you respond with ‘run’ or ‘this place sucks’ or something similar, the same applies to every pharma company. So spare me the aggravation. The crap at pharma companies is not as much of a pain as being recently downsized and having a family.

My question is around pay and benefits. How is base salary/commission for someone with 20+ years of successful experience. Does Xeris provide any options/equity at sign on? What is ballpark range for salary and IC target?

from what I’ve investigated, it looks like car is through a monthly allowance. And no access to corporate credit card? Not a deal breaker as I would prefer to get the points from my cobranded card.

Yes family is important but sorry to tell you, run and run fast! Don’t even consider it. Very ooor management, the closed the California research and development lab, “moved” it to Chicago but only 5 people came! They left everyone in CA out to dry! Can’t keep staff, or sales staff, poor to zero pipeline, horrible HR. Sorry but run!

Stay far away! Run! Fast! Keep looking, do not interview! Horrible company! Poor management, horrible hr! They shut down the California lab offered jobs to whoever wanted to move only 5 people came. Ruined the lives of 40-50 people in California bc they are out of money! No research pipeline, can’t keep employees bc of horrible work environment, just a bad place! they will ruin you! And your career. You will find something better, do not even bother interviewing!

Ok, so an N of 1 who must be a disgruntled former employee from CA has spoken. Anyone else have more constructive feedback? Especially around the salary, incentive/comp and benefits?

Life in the NE USA is tough to say the least. No one cares or has ever heard of Xeris so you might as well have Covid.

Wow you have 20 years experience and want a MGMT role. What the heck are you asking questions on CF. You seem too weak to ask the hiring mgr or HR. Better question is what do you bring to the organization?

Doesn't sound like much of an organization to be honest.
