Another VP of Sales for Benco Dental resigns

Great news! Not sure if the company can turn it around but. Good start. If Chuck would resign that would be great!

 

Turn what around, are we doing that badly? We're growing that I can see. Challenges sure, KT resigning was a great start but not sure this turn around business.

 

KT resigning is a good start but Benco is in bad shape. Top reps are resigning or are going to resign, more lawsuits are coming, lost equipment lines are not coming back, commissions will be continued to be cut.Stupid reporting is not going away.

44 Open sales positions now posted, more than that but regions are giving account to other reps. Benco is removing negative reviews on Glassdoor. Distributor 1,2,4,5 has Adec but not Benco,Why?

Why? Because we were arrogant enough to tell Adec we only kept their packages on the showroom at Center Point to sell against. Cohens refused to be force fed inventory like Distributor 1 and 2 are routinely.

 

So standing up to the bully that is Adec was a bad thing? Sure not necessarily the best tack to tell them we only display it to sell against it but still, ADEC is a bully and not really that great to begin with, overpriced DCI quite frankly so why the hullabaloo? Would be nice to have like any other product in our bag but not that big of an issue IMHO.

 

Nope. Standing on principal is fine. Above post specifically asked why we don't have Adec. Not making judgement calls. Just explaining how we lost the line. Bully or not, to assert that Adec is basically overpriced DCI demonstrates a huge lack of understanding of the dental equipment space.

 

Well now that KT is going, can she take some of her refugee managers she brought in from Office Depot with her? They're terribly, know nothing about dental and are not competent when it comes to professional sales. They're numbers managers not people managers. I guess another reason she's going, she was a square peg in a round hole...

 

3 big Equipment Specialists leave Benco Dental.

 

Not quite what I had in mind. Those three are gonna leave a mark...

 

The way Benco is now, not the last ones to leave.

 

I guess the old VaTech / DCI combo package isn't going so well after all.
