Um, yes, they can and do check credit if you live in CA. Unless something is changing in 2018?

Nope!

 

I am pretty sure they just make you use your own credit or debit card in this situation. Then reimburse you.

 

I had a divorce with bankruptcy and they still have me an American Express.

 

I filed BK7 3 years ago. I have 5 credit cards by now, my own business. and 750 credit score - meaning i learned some lessons. If pharma/ inventive wants to punish for that - well i can go somewhere else. for a gig
