Apparently Implant direct can no longer say they are compatible to any systems because it’s never been studied. All compatibility connects have been removed from all literature. Can we say sinking ship?

IMPLANT DIRECT has FDA 510 K approval to claim compatibility between its implants and abutments and those of Nobel‘s and Zimmer‘s. All that was required was to buy a few of the competitors products, reverse engineer the connections and documented to the FDA that the new implants match. It is not surprising, now that Nobel and IMPLANT DIRECT are operated under the same Nobel management, that Nobel no longer wants to have the Implant Direct salespeople convert its customers with better products at better prices. Dental professionals and Implant Direct employees are the losers from this lack of competition.

Layoffs and jumping ship because ID being restructured. Sales aren't that great. Manufacturing is too expensive to move so most likely will stay. Corporate workers can easily be absorbed into Nobels corporate operations...so bye bye corporate. Takes time to work it all out, but many worker's see the handwriting on the wall and are leaving. Plus they are working existing workers to exhaustion.
