I wouldn’t say incentivized. I know of numerous lawsuits against certain managers in the west for discrimination. I believe they are all around age but not completely sure. Definitely NOT incentivized though.

    Any specifics regarding lawsuits?

Xarelto is on life support. Looking at market share and growth I just don’t see a future. Completely flatlined. Also hiring practices here are ludicrous, I met possibly the worst rep I have ever seen in the field with zero experience. Just making it EASY for BMS and Pfizer.

I'm gonna step out on a limb here and guess it was a syneos rep with a nice set of fake tits?

Remember that they are wanting to get rid of the highly paid reps, make it clear that this is NOT a career any longer to the new reps. the industry is in decline in terms of these jobs and paying for TALENT is over. they hire less qualified, lower paid candidates or people who are desperate to stay in the industry because they got nothing else and will work for less and know that it won't be for long. Hire and fire. Ask the 90 RBD s across J&J who got let go some years ago how easy it was for them to get back to work at a similar job. Some went back to sales because there was nothing else.

The trend is now to axe the 50 and older reps; the ones who have been around a while. Managed Care won’t cover branded agents or if they do tier 3 level. Fewer branded pills are being written, so cut the high paid reps and bring in lower paid, less experienced reps. Fewer drugs are making it out of the pipelines so why pay experienced reps for launch experience when what is really needed are sample droppers and message givers.

The CVM National Meeting in Dallas was FULL of ancient reps. I have not heard of any leaving.

why would they? janssen pays em 6 figures to go out and get their asses kicked by pfizer and BI everyday. seriously, this place is such a shit show. old ass reps makin ghost calls and syneos reps chasing signatures. that's the cvm team in a nutshell.

It seems in the past Janssen has hired older men, but do they hire older women too?

Most of the regional directors have big boobs.

    Unfortunately they are men.

No! In fact, women here of all ages are allowed to be treated extremely poorly by the men. If you report they will do nothing but run you out. There is a young man in the west who has been reported by 5 different women for sexual harassment. Not only is he still here but is highlighted often and made out to be the victim.

They fired Long Term Care. They’d better not expect us to go into those piss filled places. Not-gonna-happen
