Are you jealous of your rich relatives and friends?

Well I try not to be & take the high road but sometimes the way some nouveau riche act is just inexcusable.

My father came from a wealthy family but that wealth was lost to no fault of his so he ended up having to start over with a ton of responsibilities towards his widowed mother and younger sisters. He did all he could for them and so did my mom.
We even let two of my male cousins stay with us rent & expense free for three months each when they were starting out (the elder one 'happened' to get a job in the same country we live in & the younger one was fleeing to us after losing his job through his own fault)
And my mom called them over for dinner every weekend without fail for seven years! Sadly after fulfilling all his responsibilities and never really enjoying his life my father passed away leaving a widow and a 17 yr old behind me (just when college was going to kick in :/) So we came into difficult times, it's like history repeating itself.

Now both my cousins got married and the younger one is well of, after becoming successful in rather dubious business schemes. AND NOW he has the guts to PUT my mother down in front of his new wifey just because she asked a really small favor(not even actually a favor it was to his benefit too) from him a woman who took care of him like a mother and got married when he was still a toddler.

I live in another country now for college leaving my mom alone, but just hearing this from her makes my blood boil and my stomach turn.

Sorry for all that venting & ranting & going OFF topic but I just wish people would have some class regardless of how rich or poor one is. Any advise on how to deal will be appreciated.

    This.

Pursuing money as the main purpose is life is probably the biggest lie that the Devil has used to help send more people to hell than any other lie combined.

As for jealously, it is something we have to mature our way out of. Its paper, the money. They are materials, the car and house.

In short, seek things that are not destoyed by fire. These are the only things that last. Things like character.

Character < money because it can be corrupted by money.

I got an easy job, a good wife, a hot girlfriend, a new Audi, and access to an ounce of cocaine every week. I don't feel the need to care too much about anything else.

It can be difficult and sometimes feeling game of resentment do arise but at the same time I would be ashamed to accept help, I kind of blame parents because of their failure to provide an education for me while my brother did receive one. I almost want to disown rhem.but it certainly shouldn't be my brother's responsibility, or should it? Maybe he could help me with a tuition for school but he has children, yeah it is complicated extremely complicated it is like they really don't want me around I can't contribute a lot

Today, you can't necessarily judge success by material things. There are some very wealthy people who choose to live frugally in a modest house and own economy cars. Then, there are some that are less successful that will go out and buy a top of the line BMW they can't afford. So why be jealous?

Once we paid our bond we were staring at our empty house wandering how we were going to pay for all our furniture. I contacted the team at Finance Now call/whatsApp at +1 4313007649 and from there on in we got incredible service and wonderful payment plans. So thanks Finance Now for helping a young happy couple get started.
