I just left Abbott - thank God you never got the job. The DM and RS the Regional - are bringing people in giving goals of contracts with hospitals they never had - the hospitals hate the management team and refuse to work with them. Once they bring in new reps - they give them a short time to turn the lost market share around or else. They can't fire them so they remove them somehow - just eliminate their position - I guess Robin and Aaron need an escape goat because their plans have failed. Most of the smart older reps went out on medical leave or left. Good bunch of reps in VA and the best in WVA. There is only one older rep in VA left - I feel horrible for her. I think that the tactics they are using with the reps - gets out to the hospitals - they know they are assholes. Sad so sad. That DM you interviewed with wanted the role plays stated verbatim with doctors or else he gave you a bad ride report. He gives everyone bad marks or low marks in order to use it. The company is very cheap - would not cover expenses other companies would. If you drive four hours to get to accounts - you can not expense dinner or anything. Long work hours - expect perfection. Worse job I ever had - great products - get company overall - the management sucks.

Sh*t rolls down hill. None of this would be happening if not for the accountant in Columbus. He loves turmoil.

I interviewed for a VA territory and could tell something was not right with AH. I got a bad vibe from him and fortunately, I was not put in a position to have make a decision. Some other unlucky fool will have to deal with him. I guess the military background prevents him from being a good manager of people in this industry.

Surely MM (aka MB) is eligible for Medicare retirement now! She’s old enough! Get her out of this division!! I have never worked with such an ass kissing, corporate stiff before in my life! She thinks she has people fooled....many see her true colors! Colors of a snake!

Are you referring to the trade sales force? You wouldn’t last a day. Trade uses data driven solutions to sell. They don’t give a bunch of product away for free and cater lunches.

Sorry why would there be so much role playing and training for pedisure and similac. isnt that like the easiest thing to sell or do they have studies for those. I worked for a pediatrician he never asked for a detail or study on teh products the rep would leave samples and thats all no signature or anything do they have field ride alongs?
thats crazy that they would force role plays and info greatly appreciated for pediatric sales rep and what it all entails, do they have field rides for similac type products and pediasure? and do they have to sign or just drop samples. thanks
