PB, docs come and go. Cases ebb and flow. Monthly Arthrex numbers are set and met, but Christmas comes but once a year. Merry Christmas to the best boss this side of the Cuba.

These last few posts are really weird. Sound like you all just get in a conference room and have a circle jerk.

Dear PB, I look forward to another fantastic year working for you. You have provided a terrific example, a role model, of how a person should work, behave and be a blessing to Arthrex, to our patients, to family and to society. Happy New Year 2019 to the best boss ever.

How are the Peerless numbers stacking up. Good year, bad year, or awful year?

So interesting to read this thread. I’ve struggled with writing a post, but wanted to provide perspective to those employees dealing with this issues. The issues I read today are similar to ones experienced first hand a decade ago. Territory and commission decreases were just beginning. A toxic culture of calls ranging from 5AM-11PM were expected with additional emails at 2AM with most of those degrading other team members and their “lack of talent”. To those still there, I feel for you. I must only express gratitude towards Phillip and Kirk for this culture (or lack there of) looking back, if not for this I wouldn’t have left voluntarily. However this was not the sentiment I had while it occurred. I say gratitude as now I joined a company with an amazing culture and pays significantly more. As I look back with Kirk and Philip I thank them for implementing that toxicity of culture as it was a driving factor to leave. When I look now: making over $500K a year, enjoying my career, team, and colleagues everyday I know this may not occurred if it was a different environment. The learning I have from this time still exists. I never want to lead like those guys. Not a knock, but a fact. If it wasn’t for this, I may have stayed and that would have been a mistake. So to that I say, thank you.

For those of you who are talented at Peerless with a great work ethic and compelling selling skills making $120K with a terrible 401K and healthcare package know this... there are much better companies and careers out there waiting for you. Instead of being bitter, be better. Both of those take thought and energy. Use that energy and passion to find a career and culture that fulfills you. Life’s to short to be filled with anger and regret. Good luck as I’m sure you’ll succeed finding something better!

I have no dog in this fight but have seen comments for years about how terrible peerless distributor is...? How he is getting fired? How S&N took said territory? How the best people left? All these nails in the coffin.... Everything seems to be status quo considering this thread is almost 7 years old? Just quit and invest in GME.

Worst distributorship is Gotham Surgical. It’s a culture that is completely toxic from top to bottom. The leadership is non-existent and the compensation is not on par with industry leaders. I could drop names on this post but it wouldn’t matter, nothing will change until Arthrex decides to clean house. It’s a shame at one time working in orthopedic medical device sales was a reputable well respected profession. Today it’s the opposite. I literally just open boxes now, my motivation to do this job has died many years ago. There is no longer an incentive to work harder because I won’t be paid for it. To be honest I should have left this industry years ago but I got comfortable and once a rep is comfortable it’s game over.
