  1. Opening in a complete “no see” area.....but I have relationships......anyone care to share the products carried in Internal Med bag? Would I be crazy to consider the big P?
    Thanks

i guess it depends on what’s in your bag now. The primary care bag is either Eucrisa, Chantix and Cologuard or Eliquis and Chantix. If it’s for the Eliquis bag I’d say it’s good. The other bag has good products but... Eucrisa just doesn’t move fast. Chantix is going off patent a year from August. Cologuard is a four year contract. There are some promising things in the pipeline, but never count on them until approved.
Pfizer is big on metrics and process. Daily call averages, sample drops, all the usual stuff. If you have access in a no see area it’s a bonus.

Very very metrics driven driven. Very stupid.

It's a job, if you need one. Pfizer sucks, but so do most other Pharma companies.

Many top reps and specialty reps jump ship from primary care even for a demotion. Think about that if you're presently employed and want a job here.

Pfizer is the flagship of Pharma. Big blue is the place to be.

The metrics help keep you focused.

Companies that aren’t metrics driven are sloppy, waste resources and vulnerable to getting bought up by companies that are metrics driven.

i hate how you can go into a call, make a huge impact, get scripts and be a top rep, but if your call is not logged in a particular way or the account is not in the system properly, that makes you a bad rep.

They would rather praise a rep who logged the call into the system correctly vs what actually happened in the call

and no, it’s not easy to log a call correctly.

Whatever you have to tell yourself to justify your nearly pointless existence as a manager.
