Maybe Amplity will care more about their reps on Novartis contract than Publicis did

Novartis has treated the PDI reps horribly since the very beginning. In one district, a PDI rep overheard their brand new DM say directly to the CV2 reps that the CV2 reps needed to "take a hold of" the PDI reps. He (the Novartis DM) went on to explain that since he had worked with all of the PDI reps, each and every one of them had NO selling skills whatsoever. The CV2 reps needed to train the PDI reps. The treatment from that same DM has remained the same. He has almost disdain for the PDI reps. In fact, recently, he even told 1 PDI rep that he knew the rep cared about their own career, but that he (the DM) really didn't care [about the PDI rep's career].

Come on, Amplity, stand up for us or have the RM's give a crap about how we're treated on a daily basis.

Tampa will always remain this way.

    Why?

Because the Representatives that are still there let it happen. You have a choice. Stay and put up w/ what you already know the normal of being treated badly. Or, quit being treated as toilet water and leave. Life is far to short to not only be treated badly but work in an environment that endorses masochistic behaviors, and I say that on both sides of Management, PDI and NVS. So after several years on the contract, coming here and posting on CP about your plea about Management is just falling on deaf ears. Management is not going to do anything about it at this point, they would have already changed the environment and culture, They didn't, so the ball has been in your court since the beginning. That district has literally had greater than 70% turnover since the beginning. PDI Management, all the way to the top even received letters from Corp Attorneys and although that helped temporary after that case was closed out it was business as usual for Management to turn their head.

There are better jobs out there, working for far better people and managers in a much better environment, as a matter of fact anything is a step better, anything!

The first step is the hardest but you have to have confidence in your abilities instead of letting these people control your outcome and confidence. You can do it!!!

good god man, let it go!

PDI/Novartis has moved on from you, why not move on from them?

If you couldn’t even keep your shit together for a simple contract gig, maybe pharma sales isn’t the right gig for you. Seek guidance!

    Sorry, public space.

Then why do you morons keep complaining about your job? You know it's not going to get better but yet you keep calling and posting this crap. I'm actually tired of getting calls and txt messages from current PDI representatives on what to do. "Because so and so is doing this to me"... I've been long gone and my phone every once in a while still goes off from one of you cry babies. Like you are going to listen what I'm going to tell you "Leave the Company or put up w/ it, your choice.

The only people that need therapy is the current squad doing Pharma, especially on this contract in Tampa.

I work for Amplity, previously PDI and think it's a great job. Sure I'd like make $$, but I couldn't ask for a better group of of colleagues to work with. My ABL and CV2 are attentive and respond to my every request/ suggestion. I would not be surprised if Novartis management showed some prejudice in favor of the Novartis employee, but that's what you have to expect with a 3rd party contract. I also think the PDI/Amplity management are fair and doing their best to keep the contract with Novartis viable. No complaints here.
