Mike C is a complete hack. He has been filling Mannkind, Wall Street, and every other person in ear shot with such a huge false narrative about how he plans to move Afrezza and MannKind into the future that its becoming a joke. At some point, he has to be held accountable for the numerous false claims he continues to put out there. If the Board of Directors weren’t completely corrupt(Al Mann would be rolling in his grave), they would have found an actual CEO with actual executive experience vs a used car salesman that expects those beneath him to be too stupid to see the truth. Does anyone question why Afrezza scripts were much higher in the past before he started pissing away shareholder value, blowing millions on a ridiculously poor marketing/advertising plan(hey Garett, how’s the unemployment line?) and reducing rep headcount? All the while he and the most incompetent, inexperienced executive team continue to reap bonuses and winner’s trips and then expect raises?? Hey Mike, living in LA has made your extremely large head at a direct disproportion to your small penis. You think you can run this company better that Al Mann, Matt Pfeffer or anyone else?? Based on what? Your vast experience as...? Exactly. I know the board hired you because they couldn’t get a real CEO at such a low price. But, based on how much you have fucked over the employees, shareholders, and patients with your complete arrogance, MannKind could have gotten a real executive to lead this company and product to where it deserves to be, and not into the used car lot along with its CEO.
He is savvy enough to not believe the VDEX lies, and not get trapped by doing business with them. That goes a long way in my book...
You would think leadership(and use that term tongue and cheek) would have better things to do than troll Cafe Pharma to justify performance or to pay themselves on the back. Are you that insecure?
He is total smoke and mirrors. I worked with him 18 years ago when he was a lowly rep with DuPont and then joined BMS through the merger. Everyone kissed his arse as a future leader and somehow he walked up the ladder to where he is now. Kudos to him for playing chess with the best of him and winning, now you are paying for the reality of his being in over his head.
To the brain child above defending Mike C, when your head of council and chief compliance officer defend Mike C’s poor leadership and decision making by saying “he’s doing the best he can”, you’ve got a problem. Only in fantasy land does someone with no experience become CEO. His and Mannkind/Afrezza performance only further proves this.
