I don't hold my layoff against anyone, I don't wish ill will upon anyone who’s still there.

If you want advice from someone who’s achieved president’s club, or cresset, or whatever equivalent 7 out of 10 years in Pharma, keep your options open.

Takeda has always underpaid, it was a really really good company, but they failed to maintain a promising pipeline.

If you are happy stay, if you have know you you deserve more for your efforts, look, the lay-off got me a significant raise.

And be sure to sit with your district for general sessions because we can’t trust you and don’t want you blowing off sessions trying to sleep off the previous night bender

Our 2 biggest blockbuster drugs?!?! Lol, what world do you live in? Do you really not see what is going on around you? The market has changed, specialty medicine and personalized healthcare is here. Not the 12th in class PPI. And people are literally distraught that they were laid off? Are people really this naive?

 

Any success that happens at the expense of your health, your family or your character is not real success.

 

If it is a district dinner only, you can wear business casual.

 

Last year, several districts wore similar bow ties (including the ladies) and it was fun experience.

 

Jeans are acceptable every day. At least for the last 5 or 6 yrs. we used to do business and business casual when they did the formal cresset announcement the first night. Haven’t done that in yrs. thankfully we have gone casual. There will be some very dressed up trying to make a name for themselves or trying to get noticed in their too tight dresses....
