They all overlap with each other, from $60-90k for 24, $70-110k for 25, and $80-150k for 26.

Do they increase your salary every year by 1-3%?

Does anyone know how often they adjust the ranges?

If you meet all of your goals your bonus/raise could be 1-15% based in your grade. All the recruiters will tell you the higher end. No matter how hard you work, how many problems you solve, how many endless nights, you’ll still receive the bare minimum.

Make sure to email them directly I usually start w the local site hr manager. They are so nice always helping me and being a sounding board to listen to my concerns. They especially like when I use specific names and examples.

target annual merit increases ~3%, which varies based on performance and where you are in the band.

Many employees sometimes get a pay cut year over year, because the bonus is cut & then they only get a 1% raise in base salary.

So would it be logical to think that paygrade 23 is 50-80K?

Pay grade 23 is hourly worker, there's no salary range

Interesting. I’m currently pay grade 22 and “salary+OT”. So while I get paid for Ot I’m not truly an hourly worker. Just applied for a paygrade 23 position.

    2015-2016 ranges:

    23 - 45k to 81k (non-R&D) 7% bonus
    24 - 53k to 96k (non-R&D) 8% bonus
    25 - 65k to 118k (non-R&D) 9% bonus

Hi how do you know the pay grades for a particular position? I don't see the pay grade in the job posting.

Unfortunately, they hire for so called experience, and years with J & J mean nothing. Credit given for years in industry. Totally unfair if you have been a loyal employee.

So true, years with the company means nothing !

what is the job title? Does the job title contain senior (25), staff (26), facilitator (25), sr facilitator (26), manager (30), or senior manager (31)?

Also some of the pay ranges in this thread are not exactly correct. Pay ranges are adjusted every 1-2 years, also geographic scaling factors & r&d has higher ranges than base business. Annual bonuses and raises vary depending on several factors, including annual company multipliers and your demographics.

Just apply, go through the process, and if you are ok with the salary...accept the job offer. If you do not like the offer, try to negotiate it up. Do not try to over analyze the compensation piece. Compensation policy changes are expected during the next 5 years.

you will never know what they will offer but expect it to be in the second to third quartile, not too far from the midpoint. Raises are slightly higher for people lower in their salary range.

do not forget the value of benefits such as the pension and the 401-k match and tuition reimbursement (for now)

Value of the benefits? Doesn't the Gorsk get part of his enormous bonus based on eliminating these benefits? That is how it feels.
