you have to be an absolute idiot to apply to a company like Pfizer.
1. micromanagement
2. no future
3. terrible bonus

 

I would say micromanagement depends more on the manager than it does the company. I don’t feel micromanaged at all. My last two companies had way more micromanagement than here

 

“Last two...”???? That’s telling.Maybe you need more management.

 

There is no job stability anywhere in corporate sales, and certainly not with a puke of a company like Pfizer, and in pharmaceuticals/biotech in general.

If you like to be micromanaged, apply.

If you like to be treated like a criminal, apply.

If you like to not challenge yourself, apply.

Just telling you the truth.

Agreed, there is no stability anywhere but I will say, I rather be part of a company with the capital to do the acquiring rather than being acquired.

 

Wyeth was lean mean and fat with cash. It was the biggest buyout ever.
Any company can be bought. Or sold off in pieces.

I have only been with 2 companies in 20 years. I have had 3 managers here and none were micromanagers. I had 5 at my previous company and 3/5 were micromanagers. I think the sterile injectable managers are fantastic.

 

Why would anyone want to buy Pfizer? No products or pipeline other than through their buyouts. Rest assured, Pfizer’s day is coming.....and so is yours.
