Most internal managers are worse. Only met a few external ones they were ok but working for them is different. I know the ones on the west coast have turnover. They sometimes ask people from customer service to apply. The ones that have are just glad to be out of the home office. Most leave shortly afterwards they find sales is difficult.
I have wondered the same. Very unprofessional and arrogant. Quite demanding and think he knows what is best. How about come in and learn and listen. Not a fan.
Fast forward 2019 for DK.... 0 for 1 in manager hires, dude lasted less than 11 months. Now hires female rep, who he passed on in 2018, with no management experience in any industry. Only hired her to check the box for diversity and his boss wanted a female. It's all about positioning himself for VP position now interviewing. Hang on folks...about to get bumpy on this ride!
