So tell me something new. I , a DM, have no problem with this as long as she meets her (sales) numbers. What has bothered me is the ride alongs that end up in the 3 hr motel or backseat gymnastics between a newbie and some reps or the DM and rep. I have seen an increase in this activity in past few years as the job stress has gone up.
Another example with what's wrong with this hell hole. This place has no sense of ethics and upholding morals. The lack of professionalism is disgusting and any woman who has to fuck and suck her way to the top because of lack of intelligence is pathetic.
I thought the "DM" was going to say he didn't mind the sexual bribery as long as she made he 10 calls per day. The again, if she is banging decile 10 docs she will prove the oldest saying in the industry: 1 call with impact drives more business than 10 BS calls. And talk about impact.....
True. I've seen a general decline in the morals and ethics over the past dozen years or so I've been in this business. Some new hires are obviously just sex toys for leadership. I can now almost 'spot' the rep who uses her body for a quick advancement. Glad I'm near retirement.
This is not the least bit surprising. I'm a female who's been in pharma for over 10 years and with Actavis for most of them. Women who practice this sort of behavior really make it hard for some doctor's to take attractive female reps seriously regardless of how intelligence or professional they may be.
Anyone care to share the initials of these wonder new additions? I just went through a divorce and could use a little play.
