What qualifying language is needed for a 21% drop in sales? The number stands by itself!

Maybe our new Avon line will make up the sales...

    2015 Financial results

''Sales were influenced by generic competition in US following the loss of exclusivity on Taclonex® Ointment and lower than expected sales of Picato®.''

Strange how this thread went quiet.

Where are all the kool aid drinkers now? Still with us, or ''seeking new opportunities''?

In the southern half of my territory, Picato can't be moved with a dump truck and a crane. Poor managed care coverage by the biggest employer in the area (as in tier 99) and two derms who make my life a living hell.

Thankfully, the northern half is okay.

Don't know how much longer this will hold out.

They will sell off as soon as possible. A huge failure (again)

    Still crushing it....

    From our 2016 Annual report

"Sales of Picato®, LEO Pharma’s actinic keratosis treatment solution, declined by 11% in local currencies compared to 2015. Picato® sales are declining in the US......"

Wait, wait, wait one second. I thought Picato was a blockbuster in the making. A true game changer. You mean it's not? It never quite took off? Hmmmmm. Set up to fail. Leo is a fucking joke and an embarrassment. Led by losers right down the drain.

    Fuck you Leo.

LEO is more interested in going down with the ship of blind faith political correctness and the religion of "diversity", than it is about simply putting awesome competent smart dermatology minded people in key positions to grow the business regardless of their identity politics.

    In todays RAPs
EMA’s Pharmacovigilance Risk Assessment Committee (PRAC) on Friday announced that it’s begun reviewing data on skin cancer in patients using Picato (ingenol mebutate), a gel for treating actinic keratosis, which is a skin condition caused by excessive sun exposure.

The review, which will run until January 2020, was triggered by data from several studies showing a higher number of skin cancer cases including cases of squamous cell carcinoma in patients using Picato, EMA said.

For a patient centric company the lack of communication on the above posters point -internally and externally is disgraceful.

and so the sorry saga ends.

    From the 2020 Annual Report:

''During 2020, we permanently phased out Picato® gel, our product for treatment of actinic keratosis, based on an overall business assessment.''

Doomed from the outset thanks to idiots like double D and his merry band of sycophant managers. Cheap. Poorly planned and executed. I knew we were DOA at the launch meeting.
