This company is hiring. What do you know about the SkinTE product and efficacy?

Look I don’t know anything for sure but this is my take on the situation based on market intel. I work for a company that is sort of competitive with PTE (soon PTEQ), but I wouldn’t be hurt to see the company succeed. It would be good for patients and it would be a potential employment opportunity for me and my friends. I’m not a hater but of course I’m anonymous so either believe me or don’t. You’re reading an anonymous message board so I assume you know there is some interesting intel in here occasionally.
I believe the product doesn’t work in a meaningful way for surgeons. This is to say the technology may have some advantages long term with the sebaceous glands and hair follicles, but it takes too long and it’s not relevant to real world challenges related to life/limb/looks in most severely injured patients. Severely burned patients will be dead long before the many months of healing required. PTE reps are now instructed to target only burns “smaller than a baseball.” It is a niche technology for reconstructive applications in the wound/burn space.
The company is all over the map strategically and evidence of that is all the turnover with reps once being guaranteed $250k with zero sales to support their pay. There is no more burn specialist position and now they are “pivoting” to DFUs. That’s code for “we failed and now we are desperate.” From a capital standpoint the company must be in bad shape, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see some downward guidance from leadership sometime very soon, with resultant stock price fallout. I really can’t see this company surviving without a complete wipeout of equity holders. I would not want to be a sales employee of PTE at this point, it’s not good for the wallet and it can be bad for reputation.
If I’m wrong about any of this please let me know. The stock has been cut in half since the beginning of February so if what I’m saying isn’t true, help me understand why that has happened. I currently hold no positions in the stock but I’m tempted to short.
    Good luck all #PTEQ

is there any evidence that SkinTE has been successful for burns? They’re promising it’s “The End” all be all, but I’m skeptical. Are their any publications?

The Manager out of Chicago was disrespectful, rude and arrogant. I was not impressed with the sales side.

This post is an exact copy of what you posted in May, 2019. Does this information represent up to date views and diligence or do you have a different agenda with respect to how you want readers to think about Polarityte and it’s tech? A lot has happened since May. 2019.
