What state is impacted the most by not having UHC/Optum Rx cover Farxiga. It's absolutely killing us in the midwest and it doesn't seem like AZ has any interest in doing anything about it. What an absolute shame because we could take significant market share from Jardiance if/had we been covered. I don't know if I can handle one more conversation around control what you can control or other areas in the country have the same problem. Doctors will get a call back that our product is not covered more than 50% of the time when they try to write for Farxiga and that's being conservative. Wake up AZ. If you want to play ball with the big boys, you better have a managed care team that can set your reps up for success. Put us on a equal playing field.

You don't get it. AZ plays to play. They never play to win. It's built into their DNA. They can't help it. It's always been that way and there is no sign that it will ever change.

Last post 100% correct. The managed care "team" get's their marching orders from the pencil necks that live in the dark holes of the mother ship. Don't blame the managed care team.....they are just the messengers.

I agree with you on how difficult it is to win with disadvantaged managed care plans. In particular UHC. My territory has the same push back. However, please remember how our copay card works around that challenge for the commercial patient. Live with your PA MAs, hit the pharmacies and use the pharmacy hotline. Further, you are evaluated relative to your peers. Strap on your big boy boots and fight-the-fight. Who knows maybe just a little more positive attitude will put you one leg up on the competition .... and I don’t mean Jardiance/Invokana. That’s how we roll in Florida!
