Price pressure is a real thing. I hear that there are Chinese options hitting the market and getting some use in part of Europe and Asia. Are we ready for implants from china? How cheap is cheap and what does that do our brand?
Who saves when a cheap implant is used? Does the surgeon make more? Or does the CEO and the hundreds of administrators under him/her make an extra million come bonus time? The erosion of quality in our healthcare system created by administrative greed needs to stop. They aren’t doctors and should not be prescribing implants or procedures. Surgeons need to stand up to this and reverse course.
