Seems more believable than the guy saying 2Q is "at plan" when it doesn't seem like there is actually a plan to begin with. Do I believe that the company is hiring idiots who don't know anything about the leadership changes and the lack of a permanent CEO...yes, I do

The real problem is we hire inexperienced reps, who are unable to work independently. From these post and it may be just a few ex employees, all they do is bitch about management. Nothing about innovative products that fills a customers un-met needs or more importantly the role they play in educating HCP's. No it all bitch and moan, but it is funny to see the kind of people that we have hired in the last year!

And why not become a generic company while you’re at it? We could cut price and then we wouldn’t need reps to sell products anymore. We are more expensive because we have better technology and better products and if you don’t believe that and cannot sell the value, then maybe you are not in the right place.

Good post, like most reps I dont loose business based on price. Medline has very little business in my area. I compete against Molnlycke and SN. The key is I have great access and I educate my clinicians on the total value of my products. Purchasing has only a little role in product selection and most hospitals dont care about price and want the best products.

And who changes your diaper in the morning when you get up since you whine about everything, leadership, new hires, backorders etc. I don't know how you survive without being coddled all the time... learn how to put your own pants on and quit blaming everyone else but yourself and lack of sales abilities to close business.

Can’t wait to hear all the blah blah blah on today’s town hall. That is if we can clearly hear the call. This company is so lost. There is not one individual on the leadership team that understands what’s going on, what the strategy is and what the future looks like.

Wow. Way to spin it. This company is an absolute disaster. Let us begin with tedious administrative tasks such as Quickbase. Get a CRM system that actually functions like a CRM system instead of field reps having to manually tweak functions in order to enter a simple call or pipeline opportunity. Does anyone realize how much time it takes for to change this crap? Convatec needs to decide if they want their sales reps out selling or if they want them sitting behind a screen all day fiddling around with Quickbase.

Quickbase is driving me to quit. Useless and a waste of time. Can we invest in a more efficient CRM system that is actually user friendly. All of our competitors use Salesforce.

This company is broken. It was broken before, scotch taped together and now is completely fractured and irreparable.

Senior Management couldn't function as shift managers at McDonalds. Proof: Long-term highly successful reps (10 years plus) all left for other opportunities, no opportunity at all, or "retired early". Line managers, many of whom had no prior management experience (Can you say Medtronic/Covidien) and certainly do not know sh t about wound care are the flavor of the day. The British leadership team doesn't know a thing about the American market or how health care and medical devices are delivered in the US. They don't understand our culture and what motivates Americans. Oh, and Many, many new ideas????? How about ONE GOOD IDEA? I hope the new CEO Karim comes in and does a major management dump before he even sits down behind his desk. Hint: Start by loosing anyone that has Covidien or Medtronic on their resumes.

Quick Base is an amazing tool that has played a large part in increasing my sales.

ROL ! If that is the case, you must have been a lost little puppy. Any representative worth their weight, should be much more productive following basic territory planning, targeting, and always prospecting. Know how to prioritize, know when to say "yes", and when to say "no". Quick Base is a time sucker and waste.
