    I sell Oncology products in the Northwest ( worst access ever), and I was wondering which cities actually have decent access ( lunches, appointments, sit downs) for Oncology products? I am seriously considering moving, I just don’t know where is a good area to go to. Yes, I know all access is tough these days, but some areas are better than others. Serious responses would be appreciated. Thanks!

    We all have decent access. Its consistency of access, and why would you ask this question. If you have been in this environment you know that it is evolving.

    Decent access - what? Generally, the South has better access but nowhere like the old days.

    Well if you are in the south and have access, how would you know about any other geo? You have to go somewhere to create an opportunity. Access is defined in many ways...it is definitely not monthly lunch appts. Its there, its not consistent!!!!!!!
    Just like redefining our customer engagement....We need to redefine BAM involvement, etc...what has that done? Nothing. We have the access to these people......Lets go back to basics and not make this so complicated.

    B = BSer
    A = Accomplishing
    M = Metrics that have nothing to do with driving sales.

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA there is NO ACCESS anymore in Oncology (none that warrants a triple figure salary anyways). Paying reps 200k to see one customer a day- if they're lucky- well, those days are over. That's why BioOnc will see a greater than 50% reduction in headcount soon.

    And BAM's- what a total waste of time and money. Steve H. sold some massive BS when he dreamed of that shit bomb. He's the dumbest person in all of Genentech. Plus he's just a douche

    I cannot think of anything more pathetic than being an oncology sales representative for Genentech. For those that are, wow, how do you look yourself in the mirror each day? Find something else that is of benefit to society other than getting paid to watch re-runs of Jerry Springer each day!

    Yes, you are making bank. Well, for another month or two until I lay you off.

    Thanks,
