Hey Mark. What happened to your sign on Cortez? Couldn’t you “leverage” that ordering physician, oops sorry, landlord relationship better? How much is the rent again and what’s fair market value? Quest-ions are being asked.

Looks like someone talks a little too much.

I must admit that Quest-ion was pretty damn funny!

I’ll bet that Mark won’t be laughing, or anyone else with their name attached to this thing. Unless he already cut a deal. Curious if they got to him yet.

I guess the strategy is volume at any cost at this point. But who’s stupid enough to put their names on these deals? They’re too obvious and aren’t even clever. You can’t claim ignorance. You know the backstabbing is brutal when the pressure is on. Can you imagine going to prison for some doomed corporation and a few bucks. Wow.

    Hello Mark

As is stands today, the consequences for violating the Anti-Kickback Statute are steep. Criminal penalties can include fines up to $25,000 and a five-year prison term per kickback while civil penalties can cost as much as $50,000 per kickback in addition to three times the amount of damages sustained by the government.

Ouch. But how would anyone know? Where would the information come from?

Qui tam lawsuits are a type of whistleblower lawsuit that is brought under the False Claims Act, a law that rewards whistleblowers in successful cases where the government recovers funds lost to fraud.

    Oops.

Everyone forgets that there are two sides participating. Then throw in the lure of easy money for actually doing the right thing. How do you think the hourly employees feel about your success? Or that of the ordering physicians? Why should they suffer quietly while you cheat the system and get rich? Or maybe the doctors decided that they weren’t going to lose their licenses and go to prison for your scheme. Don’t worry though Mark. I’m sure Bio has your back. They won’t throw you under the bus.
