What is going on in this place? The corporate environment is toxic to say the least, numbers are in the tank pretty much across the board, and it seems like we're losing a "leader" a week. DD is completely oblivious to reality and is the biggest fraud in the history of frauds. Place is going down the toilet fast.

Look up my friend, we have already been flushed. Now we are floating around with all the turds they call leaders here at Philips. It will never change until they flush the management turds.

Philips will be around for awhile. They have lots of money and lots of portions/business units they can sell off in various countries. In the meantime, they will be doing their best to keep the Dutch employed.

Philips is big in Europe. Some places in Europe, not that long ago, people would have to wait a week in line for a loaf of bread. Some places are desperate for anything and those people get Philips...because anyone else with options would buy something else. I liked the Philips "order-to-cash" test. Sell your employees TVs, because you wanted to test new order processing. The employees thought they were getting this great deal. Turns out the local Best Buys and other stores had better sale prices then the employees got. At my office of about 200 people, of those that bought a TV via that program, 13 TVs died within 6 months. One guy bought 3 TVs. One for him and the others for friends because he thought it was suppose to be a great "deal". Turns out one TV worked, one was DOA, and the third one died after a month and by then, Philips disconnected the customer service number. Luckily, we had access to PWW (philips Intranet) and were able to find people to call. If you don't work at Philips, I don't know what you'd do.

This just continues to get worse and worse every day. Our fearless leader MK, is just ruining the sales division as every day passes. Great job on the territory realignment and compensation plans changes, they really seemed to have taken off (Sarcasm).

It's no wonder that good reps are leaving, while they just keep on trucking along and don't taken notice to the fact that morale is as poor as can be. For any new employee that got a call from a recruiter about a worldwide leader in the oral healthcare industry, think again as your probably get called because your potential predecessor has likely just quit because they couldn't stand the crap that keeps getting shoved down the reps throats and most importantly, not making any money!!You're better off looking elsewhere for your next endeavor.

This place is the worst. Most unstable company I've worked for. So unorganized nobody at any given time knows what the hell is going on. Can't wait to get out of here. I thought this was a sales job but it's more of a get me this report and that report to send to the executive team which will never get looked at. Management all the way around is a joke and our director, MK, is completely lost and needs to go back into retirement. Next time hire a director of sales who knows the industry. He embarrasses himself every time he opens his mouth.

Philips Respironics could flush the rest of the management, but each one of the managers knows just enough dirt to stay employed. HR will find a way to get rid of any critics, so watch what you say. Everyone is a backstabber. Keep your head down and don't make waves or draw attention to yourself. The toxic atmosphere will poison the good and energize the evil. The cameras and the I.T. snitches report directly to HR every week. DO NOT surf the internet at all unless you want a "deep dive" meeting with your boss. My University of Phoenix boss only gives raises to his cronies and butt kissers anyway.

I won't say Philips is a joke, there isn't anything funny about a train wreck.

Nearly 2016, election year, healthcare free market scandals are super easy to get support for, remember the asshole who raised a $3.75 pill to $750 and how he was brought down, a company culture with underlying dishonesty as it’s foundation, laws broken in the market panic so as to make numbers, supporting customer breaking laws to make revenue, devious tactics taken out on employees, and the list just goes on. Imagine a torrential onslaught of attacks, all with documented truth behind each one, coming from a bucket filled by those who were screwed after years of loyalty. Taken up by politics and amplified as election issues. Old pre social media thinking by most everybody who will be blindsided. And don’t forget the service guy pushed to suicide. What does it all mean? What will it all mean?

It's now 2019, the Andover facility has been sold, Cleveland is essentially shut down, DI isn't selling, Patient Monitoring FSE turn over is approaching +30%, what's that training thing you talk about, travel restrictions, taking longer to get expense reimbursements paid, major layoff in January 2019, and their WiFI based products have security problems and have now reached legacy status with the 802.1ax Standard being released.

I hear rumors of another lay off Jan 2020, true?

Of course there's a lay off coming. It's an annual exercise that usually includes some form of reorganization, getting rid of low performers in sales, then the technical teams will take a hit.

Today their stock took a 9% hit due in part to losses in the Connected Care arena. Philips blames tariffs like they have for the last two years. Their non-wifi wireless products haven't been updated for several years and have reached legacy status. Their WiFi products have also not been updated for a while, have security issues, and the recent release of WiFi-6 (802.11ax and 802.11ay) puts their WiFI options in the legacy bin as well.

More importantly they've lost market share to the competition. Competitors have better products and are responding faster to customer needs.
