Dr polymeropolous does not think the laws that Vanda broke apply to him since Purdue's drug caused harm and his crime is selling a drug that only occasionally works but off label.

Just know that if you dare to bring up a valid question, speak about a concern, or stand up for yourself to a manager—the whiney little bitch manager that you have will run to the spineless regional who will then email Tom and HR to start exchanging more emails about everything that you do and run conference calls all about you.

I’ve seen it with my own eyes so just watch your back at all times as you say “yes” to management but do whatever you want when they are not around.

And that probably is the saving grace for Vanda - because unlike Purdue's drug, Hetlioz will never be over used (Vanda would love to gain the usage Purdue's drug got though) and Vanda will maintain their unethical promotional push.

I get that you guys don’t like vanda, but I’m thinking about applying and I was wondering whether they do a urine or hair drug test? I haven’t done anything in like 2 months, and I really just tried marijuana once. I would appreciate an answer to the question. Like I said I know you guys really hate(d) the company but please help me out.

Employers respect people who are looking for other job opportunities right now and wanting to leave Vanda because of the illegal activity and off-label promotion. Their respect reps who don't want to be part of that.

I get it. Newly graduated, 50k is a lot of money when you are still living with your parents. Go for it. Urine test, not hair. If you just “tried” it it wouldn’t show anyway. But I gotta say, if you really want to come here anyway you must still be high.
Read the posts again, seriously. Why come to a company and work for less than half as your colleagues? NSRs are all making over 100k base. AMs are all making over 130k. And you will have the same goals, same bullshit and same worthless managers. Keep your integrity intact. This company does not survive the next 12 months. Do you hate yourself that much?

Not all NSRs make over 100k but I would write that they all make over 85k.

Do not trust ANYONE in management at Vanda! All of the good managers with integrity were let go.

The above post is right and you will have a target on your back as well as a smear campaign going on behind your back if you ever try to speak up any wrongdoing (even if it is personally being done to you).

So, another idiotic Selling skills workshop just rolled out. The so-called senior management is clueless and they seem to bring on-board "expert consultants" that no other company will ever hire. The management is trying to justify their existence and roles by dumping same old, same old centuries old basic selling skills on to the teams. And then these young, inexperienced ANSRs rally behind and render false praise to make the management team feel so employee focused. Oh, for crying out loud......
