Haha if you're interviewing here you need more than interview help. Please, be smart. When they tell you this is a horrible place to work believe them.

Serious replies. I have a phone screen coming up for a field sales opening. I need to land a job and don't want to waste my time if this is truly a bad company. What are the quotas. What is commission structure.Hiring manager won't give specifics. I have lab exp.

Pretty sure the above was a serious reply.

Lmao yes don’t worry about specifics! Take the job they said.... it’ll be fun they said!

    Here’s your serious reply:
Are you blind or did you think the 20,586 previous comments are all lying??

Hiring manager will not give specifics because the answers to all of your questions are negative. Unattainable quotas, poor commission structure, etc. If you breath they will hire you. Sales reps and sales managers leaving daily

What are the bennies here for sales people? Car or allowance? Base? Commissions? 401k stock options, culture, quality of products? Asking for a friend

"Answering for a friend" the bennies are ehhh if you have a family or plan on seeing doctors regularly. Base is 70, car allowance is 650, commission is okay if you SELL, culture is good and bad, quality of products is better than many clients want, 401k is offered with no match, stock options- seriously? Just to be transparent, if you know you can bring business, you'll do ok. If you think you can bring business, think again!

Only correction here is that they do match 401k. Aegis isn't perfect but no place is and this can be a great place if you want it to be. If you want easy then stick to pharma. Lab sales isn't easy anywhere these days but it is challenging and rewarding.

Challenging and rewarding. HA! Thanks, I needed that laugh today!

    Correction and full transparency

Aegis is cheap. 401 K match is only available up to how much your salary is. Zero matching on commissions.
And Aegis has never had a salary or cost of living raise in 25 years.

Correction: there are salary raises for all who come from the company we purchased. Just not for those who originated here. Smh

No raises were given at the time of purchase. They just didn't cut salaries for the reps who joined in the acquisition who may have had higher salaries. Starting salary was lower at ATOX.

I really appreciate your info. Can you answer a couple more questions

So is it true that Aegis never gives a salary or cost of living raise to its reps? Are starting salaries negotiable? Who is ATOX?

    Thanks

ATOX is short for Ameritox. Aegis bought them for pennies on the dollar before they entered bankruptcy. It is true Aegis does not give cost of living raises. The base salaries are all over the board depending if you came from Ameritox or Aegis.

Really? I know some Ameritox reps making over 100K in base. Aegis did not pay that when I was there

Wow. Shame that DLB embezzled millions out of the company on upgrades and rent on all his properties.

I wonder if his pet party planners are still making 200k a year

Not sure where you are getting your info but not true and just seems to be intended to create drama and not focusing on why you can control.
