I sort of answered your question. I worked with many of the Project Managers they hired. Many had CRO experience and Pharmaceutical experience in Project Management at least 6 years. The salary depends on experience but it is anywhere from $60,000 to $90,000. You can work from home. They are very overworked. They also look for Project Management and CRO certifications as well as a scientific background.
The ones I've been exposed to are hacks capable of nothing but avoiding work, shouldn't be all that tough.
