Will Stryker train for sales management positions? I’m a successful rep with a Masters in Business Marketing. What are the chances of getting hired into a sales management role?

The first question you will be asked is if you are so successful why isn't the company you work for wiling to promote you.

Agree 100%. Don’t get me wrong, Stryker ain’t $hit. No better than any other massive device company. It won’t be because you don’t have the talent or ability to do the job. It’s because the people in charge are for the most part narsicictic egomaniacs who love the sound their own voices. Things have changed so much over the last few years that I can’t help but laugh to myself when I hear these zombie idiots going on and on about how much better Stryker is than everybody else. They’re extremely profitable, sure. But they do this on the backs of their sales people. And upper leadership will cut your throat/throw you under the bus in a minute if it serves their purpose. Don’t make your reason to come to Stryker because you think it’s better than any place else. It’s not.

Could not have said it any better. Years ago, 10+, it was a great place to work. Not really anymore. Move on.

Small company with managers not going anywhere. So no room to move up.

Stryker’s a multibillion dollar company. Your management duties, including team size, would grow immensely. Here at Stryker we have no shortage of people chomping at the bit to have a shot at an RM role. And they’re already familiar with how Stryker works. Why would we want to consider you over any of them?
