I never thought that it could get worse than working for Nancy but Bobby has brought it to a whole new level. He has done zero since he was promoted and seems to be the mouthpiece for Carlson. I never thought I say this after 10+ years but it is time to move on.

BS is a great example of the Peter Principle. He has risen far beyond a level of incompetence. I have loved working side by side Bobby but he is in way over his head and the position of president has gone straight to his head.

Bobby sure did forget his roots.

No results and no clue on how to lead people. His latest "motivational" email was more about him than it was about how we are going to compete against the REAL big boys (LabCorp/Quest). Bobby needs to set his ego aside and start treating people with more respect before he finds himself less a few VP's.

How is Carlson still employed?!? He has the personality of a rock and is absolutely dishonest!

Just wait it out and he will get canned just like Nancy. He will miss his number again and Sonic will realize he does not have a strategy to increase sales.

Bobby is very challenging to work with. He makes bad decisions and does not allow anyone to give him feedback. We all know that if you disagree with him you will have a target on your back. This not only kills moral and productivity but destroys what was once a great place to work.

Why are we still talking about Bobby? He'll be gone in less than a year. He fast tracked MG, so she'll probably get a stab at President next HAHA

Of course it will be MG! She has been so successful in GA that she is a shoe in!!

Seems sad that my boss says she has no idea how much the execs and managers laugh at her. Apparently only Bobby thinks she is good at her job. And I have to go on a sales award trip with her? Guess its an award trip for Bobbys buddies. Her geography seems to be getting better but has nothing to do with her (unless you ask her).

What a bunch of losers hiding behind a keyboard! Bobby is a good man and works very hard for the people of CPL. If you have good ideas on how to make the company better, then share them. We are all in this boat together, either help keep it afloat or jump! I promise no one will miss you if you are a jumper!

The level of incompetence within this company is beyond anything I have ever seen. It is beyond comprehension why certain people are still employed here considering the failure rate. Bobby squandered his opportunity for greatness a long time ago! He has lost respect for so many over the past several years because of his weak leadership skills. The good ole boy network will only take you so far. Eventually results speak for themselves and his days are numbered.

Bobby is absolutely a good man but a poor leader and even worse president. He has solid day-to-day advice but has no ability to plan for the future and put long term strategy into action. He surrounds himself with those that feed his ego versus those that will provide insight to improve quality and strategy for long term steady growth. So far his legacy is cutting labor to hit his number vs providing tools to compete in the marketplace. Tell me the last time we had a hiring freeze or had to cut labor?

I have been to hundreds of meetings in Austin. Great ideas are brought up but get no traction because we are all more worried about not making waves and staying off the radar. It is an unfortunate circumstance but the culture that has been engrained here for years. I only need to get by a few more years and then I will jump but until then I will play the game and watch as this sinking ship take on water.

These posts about Bobby made my week!

Bobby thinks the sun comes up just to hear him crow. Unfortunately he is reactionary vs taking control and being proactive. It doesn’t help that we can’t give him honest feedback because we all know he holds grudges like a teenage girl.
