The day after we learned that 4 amazing ASMs are leaving for SK Life Sciences, Lundbeck did what Lundbeck always does - improve morale. We all got a nice big kick in the nuts with a 12-13% increase in goals (nationally) when we're all struggling to get as many TRx this month as we did last month. Matt Mays and John Arena, you have to be among the dumbest leaders in the modern business world. Do you realize that your entire neuro sales force is trying to connect with these individuals to find a way out? You just threw gasoline on a small brush fire. Congrats on that. I am officially on vacation for the rest of summer.

Too funny! The management team we have are so far in over their head’s it’s laughable. Sounds like you had 4 very astute ASM’S. Most of our ASM’S are too stupid to even consider looking elsewhere. They know they can’t compete. Hopefully, they will bring some of you along with them.

At some point, U.S. patients will be able to import ultra expensive drugs like we sell from Canada, and that will be that. Think about what we sell. An orphan drug, and psych drugs that compete in an almost 99% generic market, will no real medical advantages over what else is out their. Add on a dead pipeline, and we’ll, you can see where that is headed.

Let’s see how interesting this Fall will get. Hopefully before then you will be gone.

Hey genius, do you think US pharmaceutical companies will a) continue selling the same amount of drugs to Canada b) increase these amounts knowing they will be shipped back to US and be resold at a lower price or c) significantly cut sales to Canada?

I’m sure you think the answer is B

I’m a different poster and more than likely the borders will open up to free flow of pharmaceuticals at the best price back to the US consumer. As many or more drugs are manufactured in other countries as in the US. If the conversation continues among Congress and in thru the election then the Pharma Lobby will be exposed for propping up drug prices and blocking competition.

Hopefully this will cause other countries to finally pay their fair share as the USA has been inventing and then supplementing other countries for decades.

Bingo! The psych side doesn’t have “astute ASM’s”. Upper pharma management has realized for years that the DM role is basically a total waste, and produces nothing. The regional business director is even more useless. The industry is to incompetent to come up with something new and innovative. Lundbeck has adopted every bad habit you can imagine. Yes, the Fall will be interesting.

Yep ASMs and RBDs are useless relics of the past. Glorified AdMins .The sales model has to change if the industry is to stay viable in the 21st century. This sales model came from the 1950s and 1960s. It is old and tired and needs to be retired.

Now that’s the kind of responses you come to expect from Lundbeck. One would ask why they respond like this? The answers might be..Millennial,Simpleton, Angry White Man, Trump Hater,Hillary Hater, Cat Hater, Misery Seeker, Meat Eater, Constipated,Over-Medicated and it goes on and on and......

You are exactly right. It’s inefficient, demoralizing, wasteful, outdated, and doesn’t produce one cent of revenue for the company. The “marketing department “ has lost what usefulness, if it ever had any, and is of no value. We are burning through our cash by buying a company nobody was interested in, and Glover is flying around wasting even more money grilling reps why they didn’t hit their damn quotas! No pipeline for years. No future. Unfair salary policies, where some got a $10,000 signing bonus and a $110,000 salary, while others started at $95,000 or less with no signing bonus.

Ask yourself , why should I stay? Do I think I have a real future here? Do I want to sell the psych products or Northera for years? Am I happy? Just think about it.

Of course you do give full props when the NIH develops the boatload of these drugs while condemning Big Pharma for raping patients with their outrageous prices.
    Yeah, I didn't think so.

The morale is this division is horrible. I was one of the lucky ones and recently got off this sinking ship. The fact that 4 RSM's left and took the majority of their teams with them should be a wake up call to Lundbeck, JA, PA, and DD are too busy figuring out where to spend their money for selling off Lundbeck, they could give a rats ass about any of us which is why I left. Too bad it used to be a great company.
