Thoughts on an upcoming interview

    She’s a nice woman to speak with. If you’re serious about the job, especially after reading all the crap posted on here, then you’ll be fine.

    If you need a paycheck that is only way I’d think of joining Sun. Majority of what is written on here is true. Highest turnover rate including both NSDs, disaster biologic launch, insider training, sexual harassment, managing by intimidation and bullying, poor leadership, and take a look at drug’s data, not impressive in this crowded market for docs to get on board. The drug isn’t great. Look elsewhere. It’s toxic as hell here.

    This is the only place I have worked in 20+ years where everyone (and I mean EVERYONE) is planning their exit.

    It is disappointing for me to have to say I agree with what’s on this thread and generally all things on CP as it relates to Sun.
    Only if you are unemployed and desperately needing a paycheck and medical benefits should you consider this as a temporary option.

    But if you ever go out on medical leave you’ll be terminated shortly after you’re back

    Sun does not support employees taking medical leave. Now if you are on of the good ole boys or kiss the right person’s ass, your job will be ok. If you have had the nerve to respectfully disagree with your RSM, another more favored rep from another division wants your territory, and company knows you have dirt on them, Sun will fabricate lies to justify termination. I was told if you go out on leave, have your attorney on every call and document everything!

    They better be real careful firing someone after they’ve returned from leave. The ones I know out on leave already contacted their attorneys. HR rule #407 Don’t harass someone or have another RSM or Rep harass employee on medical leave. How stupid can this company be?
    Most reputable companies wouldn’t do that but this is Sun so expect it.

    Sun will makeup crap about employee and pull offices into it. My counterpart was fired when after hysterectomy. Great person, always did good on evaluations, etc. New manager wanted buddy to take her job and trumped up false claims against her. This Mgr is such a prick went to her ex husband’s new wife’s office (she is a NP) and had office write complaint letter. So frigging obvious the motivation. Now it’s a HR/Legal mess. Levulan and Sun suck how they treat employees!! Hope she gets $$$!
