So I’m sure everyone has heard the news by now that a few RMs were fired, abruptly. Seems like a poor strategy for many reasons, but mostly considering how many sales reps we’ve lost. How are you going to hire new reps with no manager? smh.

ps any ideas what may have happened?

Who was let go? Which regions?

BTW, Zimmer dental grew by 1.7% overall in the 2nd qtr of 2019 per Yahoo finance. What is the growth rate overall for the market? I hear 6-8%. What was the increase in quota for most reps from previous year? Probably less, although those they are looking to push out probably were assigned double digit increase. If your quota increase is less than that 6-8%, and the division came in overall at a 1.7% increase, that means expectations are not being met. That then results in firings. As to who's fault that may be, that's another conversation. But, it always ends up in the laps of the sales force, never upper management.

Point is, when you have 1.7% growth happening while America is getting 'grayer,' that means your competition is eating your lunch.

Heard MH from Denver no longer there. Thought she would be there forever.
