Well this will be an interesting ride. I am certain there will be layoffs. Allergan has a women’s health sales force. My guess they will add our product into theirs and down-size.

We knew this was coming we are not meeting our over stated goals. Not to mention our horrible leadership. They can’t keep bleeding with a dog of a drug.

Severance will be here next year aroundthis time.

You'll shadow them learn simple ass detail then take their position. Believe me Abbvie folks will out last Allergan drones. They’ll keep top ranked allergan peeps and PIP the rest. Abbvie will give you priority (if your upper ranked) Trust me!

Never works that way Abbott then abbvie slashed their own ...allergan rep 70k base ....abbvie 100k base ... performance never matters it's geography, territory potential, compensation, tenure , age, if your over 50 you'll survive if low base , performance. Has worked that way all the way back to the knoll deal . Worst position to be in is a upper 30s rep making 100k or more in base in a under performing territory selling one drug

Abbvie has learned their mistake when they hired a bunch of Vertex reps for HCV - within 1 year almost all had quit because they hated the dysfunction of the company. Abbvie has realized their reps who are vested in the pension plan will never leave...no matter how poorly they are treated. Abbvie reps may get 100K base but get screwed often on quotas and bonus payouts. Abbvie reps are known as lifers once vested in the pension plan. Abbvie knows they may lose Allergan reps due to them not liking the company. Why would they PIP or lay-off Abbvie lifers that put up with bull crap all the time because of the pension over a new rep who will most likely quit in 6 months to a year because they hate the “Abbvie way”?

"abbvie knows vested will never leave on their own " you answered your question those with 15 years making 110k base will be cut to save on pension new allergan reps won't be vested for 5 years and most will leave because they are not vested ...seen this 4 times Abbvie feeds it's own to the wolves

You need to do your homework on this one. When Actavis bought Forest the vast majority of reps laid off were from WH at Actavis. Their roles were filled by Forest folks who were clueless meatheads and bimbos (led by SB and CR). Forest Management took over. You’d be hard pressed to find a significant number of Legacy Actavis WH reps left at Allergan. Forest (for THATs what it is but just under a different name) will be a plague of locusts upon Abbvie. Sure sure. You bought us but what’s the old saying? “Buyer beware”

The cheaper reps stay ...if you are an older rep making 75 base you'll be retained ...abbvie has had so many age lawsuits they don't want to face that again the middle of the road reps will be the brunt is: 110 base 11 years 3 kids and a spouse on insurance...years of pension adding up ...

We need to start b y getting rid of the "Nurse Ambassadors". They teach how to inject but literally cannot talk about anything else. Just pull the plug on this expense. I mean please.

Stop being negative or else leave. We don't need rotten apples in the bushel basket.

We will see what happens when the dust settles. Coming from Endo we all knew Orilissa wasn’t a blockbuster and all these territories were a joke with all of these “new” targets..good grief..

We have a great product and we can make it into a blockbuster. If y'all don't like it here, just leave! Bye Bye Loser

hey Allergan rep here, honestly how is Orilissa doing? Sounded very promising at first, have to say haven’t heard the wows anymore, and I get it’s really early on, but what’s the financial forecast this year? At least you will get Lo loestrin which currently does 600mill while most of us will get the buh bye package. Also what’s the sales force size? Reps, managers, directors, just curious...

  16. Take the bush bye option...Abbvie sucks!

Dude, you will never work at Abbvie. You should have saved those keystrokes to dust off that resume.
