Now Conicelli will actually have to work with the mangers, talk to customers instead of fight with them, formulate his own proposals and slide decks, and work instead of sitting in an office face-timing the mangers to seem like he is engaged an invested in the mangers development (which he has no ability due to the fact that he has no valid experience in management). Now that the tenured managers have all left he has the least experienced team in the country. Maybe now he may think that those experienced successful individuals that left because of him were actually assets to protect and respect instead of being intimidated by them...

Sinking ship. Wait till we all get screwed next year with quota. Advanced Surgery up 8% due to back order but there is no plan to make it up. Next years quota needs to be -10%.
It’s shocking how many tenured reps are gone. The money was good for the first half of the year so it must be the culture, management and the lack of any plan at Baxter. Meg, Will, and Conicelli must be replaced to affect any change here.
A medical device company that is not concerned that 35% of the salesforce turns over in a year is just clueless. It’s a miss guided sales management team. The sign of a bad leader is someone who doesn’t take responsibility for the culture they created. Conicelli blames the reps but he should take accountability and blame for what he created. Conicelli takes all the credit for the wins and no responsibility for the losses.
Yes, CC is a bit of a train wreck but this goes more on Meg than anyone. She let go of the one ASD that held on to the majority of his reps and all of his managers. CC has turned EVERY region over and in some instances, more than once. That's as much on her as him since he takes guidance from her. Even the supposed Golden Child, Melissa, isn't off the hook. She's run off a few managers and some of her hires leave something to be desired. And the reps she's sending to training? God help you if you're a patient with one of them covering your case.
