My First baby with Novo on the way! Anyone have any advice or best practices for maternity leave? Some big changes in regards to paid time and bonus payout for this year. Would love to hear your experience.

Novo will slowly build a case to get rid of you, enjoy your vacation.

That's a stupid thing to say/ I feel like 90% of our sales force is on maternity leave and the rest are left to pick up the slack.

You must show the results of your pregnancy and name of father/paternity test to you manager during your next work session to be eligible for the company program, no exceptions.

Also you must provide certified copies to your manager immediately following the discussion of both the paternity documents as well as your pregnancy test results both certified.

It is advised to tape record the conversation to protect yourself from any potential conflict of interest litigation

    best of luck, HR Insider.

Novo maternity leave is great! The only major change is that you’re fully bonus eligible for the first 90 days of leave. That applies to other types of leave as well. They have monthly conference calls/webcasts to walk you through your benefits. You can also access information to most questions via the AskHR app/portal.

Your team mates will hate you. Hire a nanny...preferably live in. Wake up...you can’t have it all.

this. Novo is super supportive of its moms, so just follow the HR process, communicate with your manager and focus on your family. best of luck.

I agree! Novo was wonderful on my maternity leave, the 90 day IC eligibility is also a great improvement. I saved up vacation and used that to extend my leave. I believe you can go longer than 90 days with lower/no pay if that interests you.

Believe it or not this was the advice I was given by Miller Lite.
