Joined Sanofi in oncology sales. Unimpressed. Cheap bonus plan. Making less than $10k a quarter, in oncology while performing at or above plan. Completely unmotivating comp plan. No incentive to work hard and produce results. New Hem reps get 175K salaries with weak oncology experience and upgraded cars and discounts, but senior reps are told no. Secret raises $5-10K being given behind closed doors. Are you getting one in addition to that pathetic 3% raise? Ask for it. No stock. Zero incentives or reward points. NO recognition for achievement given TO ANYONE in my region. Zero appreciation or recognition. Not one email in 12 months thanking the field sales team, recognizing top performers or any form of encouragement and motivation. Leadership is terrible leading. I don’t need it. But I know a good culture gives recognition. Don’t confuse the fact I am still here performing and cashing my checks as job satisfaction and loyalty. I am simply waiting for the right opportunity to put Sanofi in my rear view mirror.

Do I need to be a Caucasian male that will smile and nod the thousandth time hearing a stupid Patriots anecdote to be promoted? Need flash. No one gives a fuck about your Patriots. Stop it. It’s embarrassing our VP is so vampent.

    Formula is easy:
Competitive compensation-stock, bonus, salary, benefits. Come on just pay $60 a month for internet.
    Variable comp pool $50k
    Recognition
    Motivation
    Appreciation

Actual professional development and promotional opportunity for Sanofi sales reps
Celebrate successes. And my god have a meeting at a nice hotel on a beach. Ditch Vegas it’s cheap and tacky.

This pay is funny money for pharma. Enjoy this while this lasts.

Pharma reps are making more than med device reps. NOTE:: Med device reps actually sell and make quotas.

Sanofi has not been an oncology company in many years. More leaders have come through from primary care and thinking they have oncology figured out in 6 months. Looking at the people that were recently hired for the hematology positions it seems as if they were rejects from other failing companies.

End of the day this is pharma sales. It's not rocket science or real sales.

I’m so unimpressed I’ll continue to cash my paychecks - I always love how much pharma reps like to Bitch about their jobs when most of them have never worked hard in their lives. Go lay flooring or pick fruits and vegetables for a week (you won’t survive) and then tell us how sad your six figure job is...

Or they can find a role with an actual biologics oncology company. Good ones do exist.

The job role is equal to other organizations. I would agree the comp plan or promotions aren’t on par.

Someone needs to start at CSO company that promotes the drug via lunches an programs:

I do not think oncology sales at Sanofi would suffer.

To get promoted stare smiling into KL’s eyes and say how much u adore the Patriots. The oldie stooges that have been at Sanofi Oncology for 10-15 years make much less base than new hires with less experience from reject companies. And they love hiring diabetes drones like the Jevtana jack off from Utah.

You have to be kidding right? You are paid an obscene amt of money to do very little. If you spend one hour a day with prescribers it would be a miracle. Pay for your own flipping internet. Have some appreciation for the fact that the money you make is made on the backs of cancer patients that are dying. This isn't a great look here. Also WTF does the word vampent mean? I can tell you. NOTHING.

Amen. People making over $100,000 w free car and insurance complaining while robbing oncology patients of their life insurance, charging $50,000/month so the patient can live 4 extra months.

We work more than an hour a day. The fact you say that I am inclined to believe you work in corporate and hate field sales like half the corporate sponges. Sales brings in revenue to pay for corporate dead weight.

The IC plan for Libtayo is disappinting and not motivating

I know you work more than an hour a day. That isn't the point. However, your revenue production is confined to probably less than an hour a day on average as that is the time spent with prescribers. If your pay were tied to that this job would pay 38k a year. And trust me that is coming. It is already here for anyone in primary care sales. So my advice is stop complaining about how mistreated and underpaid you are and focus on your customers. And have some gratitude for your pay which is completely out of balance with your value. I also have a secret to share with you: corporate and field sales are both sponges. They both are sucking as much money out of the healthcare system as possible and stuffing it in their pockets. People can see this. People aren't blind. All these additional insight that whiners like you provide are another window into that. Thanks. Much appreciated.

These Libtayo bonuses are awful. Unrealistic goals. Time to move on

no joke. The Q4 goals are arbitrary. The group of the highest in the country’s unit goals are lower than territories behind them in Q3 who had lower sales and lower growth.

another rigged plan that is a popularity contest. Some people only have to grow 30% to make bonus and others have to grow almost 60% to just break even and make target. Cheap. Unmotivating. Resume updated.
