Pfizer helped in areas where they had relationships in hard access, but in other areas the share of voice has really become a problem. Buildings that were open to all, are now closed to all, the reason is the providers can’t be bothered by 4-5 people stopping/calling and regurgitating the same message day after day, month after month, and now year after year. And that’s just one company, other reps. are also doing the same. When reps are forced to disrespect the providers valuable time, you will kill access. As far as who built the Company. On the sales side of it, the people that have been here since 2014 and 2015 and successful launched CG. Many of them have hit their goals Q over Q and year after year. If you look at the expected growth rate, that’s quite an accomplishment. No other company in any industry expects growth rates of 20 to 30 plus % Q over Q. And now the people with low goals, a care gap, system or payor win, are the only ones that can make any money. Many territories have no real opportunity left in them, but that’s ignored. Completely demotivating. If leadership read and took the surveys to heart, and actually made some common sense changes. Sales would probably sky rocket to the moon. And these are just facts, take it as a negative, but leadership could take it as a wake up call and make some positive necessary changes.

I hope you aren’t on my team. We’re all making bank here. If you put your head down and go to work everyday, maybe you would exceed your goals. Leave!!!

This x1000!!! We are being micromanaged like never before. The area managers have had all of their individual creativity removed and are being told to all do it the same way.

LEADERSHIP PLEASE LISTEN TO THE FIELD SALES TEAM, PEOPLE ARE MISERABLE!

It is obvious that our management does not care about PMRs at all. They have to be aware of the completely insulting and demoralizing micromanagement that is going on . I don’t recognize this company anymore ( I know .. go ahead and just leave . I’m spoiled and blah blah blah). First of all, no I am not. I am a very hard working, dedicated employee who USED to love my job and this company. Lately I am just depressed about how I have to worry more about how things look than strategizing to grow business in my territory. Some of the new management has taken all of the things about this company that REAL sales people loved. Just have to be a robot now with the right metrics or we will be in trouble and more than likely managed out. It doesn’t matter if you are working as hard as you can to do everything possible to make your territory success.
I hope these very few people leave soon before it is too late. They are going to destroy this once fine company with THEIR negativity and archaic management style.

Same. If you try to say what you think, the response is "leave". I've been here since the beginning and have seen the change. I don't want to leave, I love this company and all my colleagues. We can only hope that Kevin Conroy finds out what has happened to the morale of the sales force. This sucks

Kevin Conroy doesn't care or pay attention to what is happening in the field now or when I was there over 3 years ago. It's just not something that a CEO deals with. He has way too much on his plate dealing with investors, the pipeline, perception and growing the future of the company. Not right or wrong; it's just what a CEO does. So, Kevin won't be your savior (even though he's probably a nice guy).
I just thought I'd pop on over and see what was happening over here. It's been this way for years, ever since they brought on the sales ops guy from Merck. People come and go and the cycle starts over.
In the end, Cologuard is a great product and it's fun to represent a good product for a while and see what you can do to change minds while you are in the position. If you are really unhappy, there are other positions out there and cancer diagnostics is a nice thing to have on your resume. A good two years with the company shows some staying power and that you probably have some good success stories to share with the recruiter.
Have fun out there, develop your skills and then branch out when you've had enough. It's not that different a lot of companies but you can control your own destiny. Good luck out there and remember to be kind :)

Nobody in the corporate world ever cared about the other person.

Go watch Bronx Tale again and learn from the streets.

Sorry it is that way, but it is not going to change. I am proud of people like you that are recognizing the mess we know as the pharmaceutical industry, full of people that don't have souls or in some cases, no spirit as well.

For the last time, just leave!!! You are very ungrateful. Everyone is making money of this product. Bring your negative attitude to your next opportunity. You’re a disease and stop trying to spread it!

I’m not the person posting from earlier on this thread, I merely added to the conversation.

People like YOU in this company are the disease! I’ve made a ton of money here, that has nothing to do with anything. You must be one of the new managers who came from pharma and think they know how it should all be done. You’re stale bro

    Go fuck yourself

Ditto !!!We don’t need people like you telling us to leave. You people are truly cancer and stupid on top of that! Pharma is completely different from this. You are going to destroy the business with your ignorance. PLEASE LEAVE AND GO BACK TO PHARMA!

Glad that you took your own advice and left. The salesforce who was there originally had nothing to do with the great successes of today. Just look at how we are doing compared to then. Please stay off our board with the drama. Things have changed for the better and the ship has been righted!

Yeah, because you aren't supposed to add any drama while you are on Cafe Pharma...

Your ignorance is on display for everyone! "the salesforce that was there had nothing to do with the great successes of today"??? IT WAS THE LARGEST DIAGNOSTIC LAUNCH IN HISTORY!!! GO BACK AND LOOK AT 2017 YOU FUCKING IDIOT!!!

Just because your some Pharma douchebag who just joined you may want to check yourself! The leadership asked all who have been here for 4 and 5 years to raise their hands and THANKED US FOR BUILDING THIS GREAT ORGANIZATION THAT WE HAVE TO TODAY!!!

The reason this thread even exists is because the fucks like you are ruining this company for all of us WHO BUILT IT SO YOU COULD HAVE A JOB!

One thing I have definitely realized is if you are a PMR right now you can forget anything being fair no matter how hard you work. Goals are insane and there is an incredible amount of disparity between territories for growth expectations. The more volume you build in your territory, the more screwed you are. Your territory gets slapped with the highest growth expectation after you have worked to maximize the growth there while others slack off and have been there as long as you but never achieve the same volume so get lower expectations for growth and subsequently lower quotas. How does this make sense??? Reward people for lower volume by expecting less from them , and they make more money than the business savvy reps who bust their ass.
    Hmm
