I have never seen it this busy before. Every cell is backed up on the shop floor. Though it is busy, some employees don't care. They sit and work slow while some people work their butts off. People who know how to kiss butt get promoted faster. People who who work their asses off wait FOREVER to get promoted. Something is seriously wrong with this. Sharon - Go out on the floor and observe what's going on. People are promoted who don't deserve it. Some supervisors have their favorites whmo tell them who is working or not. Usually it's somebody they don't like who would get in trouble whether they are working hard or not. Wonder why we're so backed up on the floor? It's because of people who don't do their part. There are some in every cell. Take the time to look at the numbers. See who works and see who doesn't work. I hope you see this Sharon. You are a good leader but I don't think you know what is really happening on the shop floor. That's it. I'm done ranting.
ill probably get flak for even attempting to defend anything... but, possibly... QUITE possibly its the middle management bullsh*tting the the ones that matter, and telling them that individuals are better than other just simply because they are friends and squashing the ones kickin' ass because they are a "threat" to their "golden" children. Or simply, not saying a word, and making keeping others accomplishments squashed to, again, promote their chosen ones. God knows there's a few out there that shouldnt be still employed, others who are definitely not of the stated skill level, and others that have blown enough sand up the upper's backside to fill the sahara desert... but, then again... one does, what one has mastered.
