Currently in cc? Better scoot to onc before Oct, no more cc. Then whatcha gonna do? Being over 35 with Smerck cc on your dusty resume won't get you jack.

Companies now hiring younger, smarter (multiple degrees) for half the comp. Staples is hiring!!

Hahahahaha! yeah, right. Younger, ok, smarter, he’ll no, and what good does multiple degrees do anyone? We’re all just caterers. You aren’t even THAT.
    You’re an idiot.

And you surely aren’t one of them.
Staples wouldn’t hire you, no real skills.
Do they deliver? There you go! I found your skill.

One trick pony in CC- Lets be honest. Sales are starting to decline as every new agent is actually showing benefits beyond just lowering A1C.

Get your affairs in order NOW! Unlike prior RIFs there will be no where to lateral to this time around. Musical chairs with no chairs this go around.

Make connections, float resumes, contact colleagues at other companies - take action. You don't want to be out of work during the holidays nor to you want large gaps on your resume as it limits your comp negotiations.

You heard it here first. Red alert, red alert.

When your call comes ask HR for an accelerated separation package bypassing warn. This will get you ahead of the pack as you don't want to be fighting with fellow Merckies for the same shit job openings (external) in the same cities.

You knew this day was coming. Calls a comin.

Oh come on now chicken little...The sky ain't fallin' and there is no need to cause undue panic...Always remember that the managers need their useful idiots below them to secure their corporate welfare jobs...Sure, there may be some cuts, but they will be minimal and certainly not the bloodbath you describe.

That will be a meeting to get everyone together for motivation after the restructure.

Merck just made an agreement with Syneos. Syneos will take over Chronic Care!!! 2 year contract recently signed, Marketing stays intact. Customer facing employees will have an opportunity to interview for positions. Territories will differ some. Managers & DCO’s will interview for positions or be moved within Merck. Announcement coming end of October. Your last day with Merck will be January 3rd 2020.
