What is Shionogi doing with Mulpleta? Will management ever divulge what they are doing with this medication? It will not be profitable for a long time if ever.

If you mistreat your employees and keep them in the dark KARMA will come back at you 360. There are no guarantees, but remember you are dealing with real people and their families.

One must understand the Japanese culture. Shionogi is a very old highly respect Japanese family deeply rooted in the traditions of the Yakuza. They are not the least concerned about the lives of the gaikokújin. Gaijin do not have royal blood of the gods as do the noble Shionogi family. Gaijin are used for their purposes and readily disposed without regard.

Thanks for the Culture lesson. Now lets talk about what really matters.... MONEY

Theres def something going on behind the scenes of Mulpleta. Either they are shopping it, or going to try a 20-25 sales rep force. 40 reps are too many for this rare disease. Us Salix folks are going to keep eating the rent (syneos) reps lunch.

Night night, (Shiono one is using it.)

If I can give you any words of wisdom, use this job to find a new one. DON'T wait until its too late, this company is notorious for short term employment and layoffs.

The word on the street is that half the Mulpleta sales force is on a PIP and that Syneos is laying off half of the team at the end of June. My source is an insider and says even an RSM is going to be FIRED

Sounds right. TR called a bunch of us last week and said if we don’t get to 5 we are going to be let go at the end of the month. If that is the case half the sales force is gone

Who in their right mind would buy this place? Has anyone actually had a doc rx for Mulpletta and insurance approve it? Anyone?

Ummb. Insurance companies approve it most of the time and Mulpleta is clearly a better alternative than Doptelet for the patient and the provider. Shionogi is trying to get rid of the product but nobody wants to buy it. It will take years for this class of medication to be profitable if ever for both companies.

yes, 1/2 the sales force was put on a plan. This quarter, the goal was 5 and again, 1/2 the reps are hitting goal. Not sure who will stay. Any thoughts on Q2 goals? In many territories this patient doesn’t exist! This is very territory driven. Healthy cities:NO PATIENTS!

Aren’t there only 23 reps nationwide?

There’s zero leadership or vision for Mulpleta. I heard all they came up with since I departed was a new routing tool. For Pete’s sake. Literally, the routing tool was for Pete’s sake. Get it, Pete. Couldn’t lead a horse to water

Everyone either quits or gets fired. Sounds like a lack of management support

Is this still a shit show? How does Shionogi not understand that this place lacks leadership and a culture of "belonging"!! So, why do you think the turnover was so incredibly high??
