Goodbye Aziz. How humiliating it must have been to be demoted. Then your shitty attitude and immaturity about it got you fired. You wasted $40 million on a TV add that decreased sales. You made chicken-shit decisions that you made only to make you look tough. You are a terrible leader, and have no idea how to inspire a sales force. Your marketing skills do not exist. You talk tough and buy big cars to overcome obvious inferiority issues. You are a coward. Your parents must be incredibly ashamed. You would do better to go back and be mickey mouse again at disney.
Your shit reputation will follow you everywhere. You just got fired because you suck at your job Aziz. Fuck you, and all the bullshit you put people through. It is a true delight to see karma come and kick your ass.
WI EL should be next - talks great, actions of a coward. Tracy - totally full of shit - lied and lied your way around, and karma got you too. Fuck you too Tracy.

Folks - if you don't understand that Avanir is the wrong place for you, then you deserve the treatment you'll receive there. Take their money and use them to find something somewhere else!

Holy BITTERNESS, Batman!!! So while I obviously don't know who you are from behind our mutual CP anonymity I'm sure we know each other from Avanir. Let me tell you, as somebody who's a little further down the road than you are I can't disagree with anything you wrote and I'm no great fan of any of the three of them, but you sound super-bitterly-involved, and I can only tell you from my own experience that you'll be healthier and happier if you let that baggage go. I agree - Avanir's current C-levels, for the most part, have either let the ship drift around aimlessly, or actually sailed it directly toward the rocks, throwing out quality people along the way as if they were so much extra ballast that needed to be thrown overboard in the hopes of avoiding a calamity. Sadly, several are very self-involved people who understand the universe as a system that revolves around themselves and their like-minded cronies, and that's what's gotten us to where we are today. But like I said, even though all of that is true, basking in the glow of this bonfire of the vanities will end up burning you from a karma/happiness/etc point of view. I know first-hand of whence I speak. So, again, I agree that Avanir will be better off with new leaders and I think it would have been better if Wa'el had been the first to go, but don't let yourself get sucked into the vortex of negative revelry - it's not worth the personal psychological costs.
    Also:
    1) I think it's below the belt to take a shot at what a person's parents may think of him. Keep some dignity in the tirade.
    2) Did he really play Mickey Mouse at Disneyland? If so, that's so much hilarious icing on this crap-cake.
    3) I had no idea that the TV ad campaign was $40M. That's crazy.
    4) If it's truly a house-cleaning that's going on do you think Linda M. is next to go?

Cowards. They're both leaving and I bet you still won't have the balls to say this to their faces. You're pathetic.

Great comment RVK and/or TD... Just because his ass taste so delicious to you both, and now you have to start over with all your ass kissing, get over it. Say it to his face? Seriously? Because Aziz is a tough guy? HA! I know he impressed you with his stories. Bullshit stories. I'd say it to his face now...oh yeah - he got fired. Darn it.

Yes - this person is 100% correct. I have to add one thing about a couple of the C-level people. Wa'el and Linda are both sales people who clawed their way to the top, but at heart they're still sales people. That's not a slam on sales folks at all - we have to have them, and I couldn't do their job. I could not sell a life jacket to a drowning person. But at the same time you almost never find somebody who's come up from sales that makes a good CEO (or VP-of-whatever-Linda-is) - it almost never happens. Same thing with scientists. How many smart PhD people have started a little pharma company from a good idea, only to see it succeed a bit and stumble because they can't lead the thing they made. They save it by hiring somebody else to be the CEO and they go back to doing the science they love. That's why it's no wonder that Wa'el and Linda make very poor decisions as leaders outside of Commercial - they're not right for their jobs at all, but people assume that success in one thing likely means success in other things. A neurosurgeon and an anesthesiologist have both been successful at graduating from medical school, but if you just suddenly swap them in operating room you're gonna end up with some trouble. Otsuka may want to consider some additional changes. I get it: Changing the CEO just when they think something big is going to happen seems like a bad idea, but leaving things as they are will just lead to more flight of talent, more jobs going unfilled, and more cultural decay. The time for a clean slate at the very top is now.

Are you such a small, insecure person that you would slam other people for their successes? Let it go. Karma’s a bitch and all this negativity will come back to bite you even harder than you’re giving.

This is Aziz. Sorry for late reply. I was letting my manicure dry. I'll bounce back better than ever. I directed all you peasants for nearly 2 years. I'm sure another company will be dumb enough to hire me.

anyone dumb enough to work for a company like this needs to do more reading of books without pictures.

This is hilarious. Why don't I feel bad about this? I actually feel sorry for those who haven't left this titanic.

Does anybody know where Tracy and Aziz are going? I heard he's going to a very small startup, and no word on where she's going.

He should get down on his knees and beg to go back to Allergan. The little pion was obsessed with them anyways. What type of clown gets on a stage at his first ever event and says "I'm so happy to be apart of Allergan, I mean Avanir."

See the post just above this one? I don't get why people do that... they "quote" another post and then don't add/say anything. Why? Is it just to reiterate it? I'm not judging - I'm really just curious how/why that happens. Anybody?

And don’t forget, he blamed his wife for his mistake. No hesitation to throw his wife under the bus from the stage.
    True colors!

Aziz was a joke from the very start. After 5 minutes of hearing him speak... you knew he was a very small man with a lot of insecurities. Photo of my car... I do ju jitsu... etc. What a pathetic excuse for a leader...
