Gilead is gone folks. The men who build this company have cashed out and moved on. Those men had passion and a fire to succeed that drove this company to succeed. Gilead is now leaderless. The IHD team is staying home collecting welfare checks, HCV is ruined forever, and onc not lived up to its potential. LH is a big pharma exec who succeed solely based on the fact that she’s a woman. No real substance there. Anyway folks, it’s time to go. Gilead was a great ride. Made a ton of cash and did some great things to improve the lives of patients. It’s time.
Sadly this is very true!! Been here for 18 years and we are leaderless with no novel ideas at the top!! Look no further than Managed Markets and there you have it...ZEROES EVERYWHERE
That’s right, let’s give everything away for free. That’s exactly how you create funds for further innovation and cures. But it’s ok, you do you! I forgot, this is the only industry that can’t make a profit. My mistake. Stupid troll.
Those days are gone and never coming back. I don't really see much of a difference in any of the pharma companies at all.
Having come over two years ago from a larger but similar structured company, it’s been a total repeat of what happened there. Talking with former colleagues who’ve gone to other companies, it’s like this everywhere. No one will touch Amgen with a 10’ pole and one can see why with the personality of LH being cultivated there. Enjoy what you have here and make the most of it, this industry is changing rapidly and may become a very different one should “Medicare for all” ever become a reality
Hate to tell you this. Gilead's not been a good place to work for a long time. You can make some good $$$ here, but there's a price to pay
LH has no substance. Her MO is to get down to the nitty-grittiest of details until she completely undermines the strategy so she can then "save" the org from making a huge error -- with no one having the guts to call her on it. And if you're mail, well . . . This should be fun . . . . . . .
yes, me too miss the old days - when Bears paraded the bathrooms offering free BJ service to management
I cashed out in 2012 after 12 years at Gilead. The old days were the best, thank you JCM and yes even KY for allowing me to retire at 55.
