Corelink Spine just showed up in my area. Their pedicle screw looks exactly like Expedium. Does anyone know anything about them?

Is it a line? All they seem to have is pedicle screws and PEEK cages.

Sounds like some cutting edge shit. Guy above says "great line." A quick look at their website says they have nothing - absolutely nothing - to add to this saturated market if not a POD.

I don't know about great line but has a nice pedicle screw set that is an expedium knock off----but you don't have to deal with the BS from the tall one or the little fat guy. lol

Corelink is a front company for SIM surgical. they are a manufacturer that makes instruments and implants for about 40 spine companies. They have created a full line of spinal implant systems based on copies of what they have made for other companies. They have no patents or licensing on any products- just pirated IP.

They are trying to use this approach to sell directly to hospitals and buying groups- they call it lean supply chain. They want to cut out distributors and sales reps.

It is not taking off so they are letting distributors sell product. The plan is to establish business, then cut out the distributor and go direct or hire the distributor rep for peanuts.

It is legally structured so that if they get caught SIM will be protected. They are having major financial problems and routinely hire and fire within 3 months.

Not sure if the company did its due diligence with it's back ground check with Matt Stuttle, several harassment cases at Kyphon, abused company expense account and was allegedly fired for it. This guy is bad news, as a former sales rep of his, take it from my experience, be careful with your dealings with him and document everything!!!!!

Worked with Stuttle at Forest Pharmaceuticals, never saw a guy with so much little talent! This poser goes through jobs every 2 years. He had HR problems at Forest as well. All I can say is beware of this monster, and like the person said in the last post: Document and Record everything!!!!

I also worked for Matt at Kyphon when he was a Medical Director, perhaps the most sexist, two faced lying man I have worked with. He always gave me a very unsettling feeling, could not wait to get rid of him after a work session. I agree with the other posts, be careful and record everything-

Looks like an old post here but for what it's worth I know Matt well. Worked with him for several years and really enjoyed it. Some of my nest years. Never saw any of what you're saying, he was always helpful, polite, professional and motivating. I learned a lot. Guessing you or whoever felt that way was probably let go for poor performance reasons. Would gladly work with him again.

I agree. Matt is a great guy and very experienced in spine. Seems like they are growing with good products in my area, seeing them more and more.

Hey "some of your nest years" you don't have to report to Mr. Hair Club-
How much did Matt pay you to make up those nice compliments?
