Honestly, it has been an absolute disaster. We have several docs that simply won’t touch this drug. Not sure how long they will keep us around but do know majority is currently looking to get out.

Definitely true. This is quite a disaster. If you’re not looking you’re not very smart.

Is it really not going well? I know everyone is hoping for it to be a success. Is it managed care, results from people trying it, internal management?

    It’s earlier than that, time.

Doctors aren’t going to write because you asked them too. It takes time 9 months to 1 year. You are in a market with a lot of competition no way to move the needle that fast unless you guys had a miracle drug. The messed up thing is your company is actually not a company.

You have some private equity money out of the caymans if they don’t achieve whatever bench mark results they set all you guys are laid off on month 12. The drug gets sold too whatever company is already eating your lunch.

This right here. My useless manager pretty much put me on a plan today. 6 months minimum. Everyone knows that.

No kidding? What would u expect if u have less than 5 scripts coming from your docs? U be lucky to be on 6 month plan.

We’ve been stealing money from them from the start! We are paid to sell and deliver results... well we should be lucky we getting paid; because we aren’t delivering any results

Is this a joke? Deliver results on a product that has no coverage on the majority of all commercial plans? Has at least 2 step edits on most plans? Seriously? Save it, you probably are in North Carolina with Medicaid coverage.

Layoffs may come in November so the WARN act has no impact. This product is awesome. Somehow no one told them even the greatest products will fail without managed care backing. I think they should use a card that bypasses insurance and all patients can buy it for $60 a month. They need to lose money before they can make money. After a couple years, there would be enough scripts to influence managed care to bring it on board. It is not even expensive really compared to most drugs. Doctors are hearing great stories from families. Nothing is worse though than using the free month card and then finding out your child cannot get the drug because your plan will not cover it. The investors should have been smarter than this. Yes, the product can change the market eventually. But to do so, patients need the product and they cannot get it. It will be really sad that investors cannot see this and only care about instant money in their pocket. But that is the way of the world.

Good post by our moron upper management except that we could give this drug away for free and still very few docs would write it. Our drug is an oxymoron. Think about it. Stimulate at night Cmon man give us a break. Docs are reluctant to rx this shit drug. Just received my ne offer. See you clowns later!

WARN Act should apply if you started mid May and we make it until November. Use your eraser, sharpen your pencils. Update that resume.

Agree completely! So many posters here are clearly those who applied and weren't hired, competition or as is the case of the rep on a plan accepted the job thinking they wouldn't have to actually know how to sell or work. They are milking what they can from the company and then complaining because they aren't getting scripts. Is the drug doing as the company forecasted - NO. And anyone with launch experience at the launch knew those numbers were a joke. As someone else said here, it takes time to launch a drug, especially one that requires you to change the way providers think. The feedback on Jornay PM is amazing. It is a GREAT drug and does make a major difference. Once you get the physician to write that first script and they hear back from the patient/family they become believers. That said, getting that first script requires a Representative willing to leave the house and work and one who knows how to sell a new product, especially one that has a completely new delivery system and answer objections. Managed care can be a hang up, but in all honesty it's more an excuse for reps who aren't performing than a major obstacle. Providers have to do PAs for almost every branded product in the class, that isn't a true problem. And the cost is very comparable to every other product in the class and since it actually does work morning to evening at the optimal dose most Pts ni longer need boosters, so they save money. I am averaging at least 5 scripts a week now. Of course that isn't as many as we hoped for, but the momentum is picking up and with the patient feedback those numbers will continue to increase.

In other words, rather than come on here and whine. Or blame your manager you need to look in the mirror and accept the fault for your poor performance lies completely on you. Use this warning period to either change your attitude and actually start doing what they are paying you to do, ie actually start working full days and selling the benefits of delexis a d Jornay or do us all a favor and quit. Let someone who is willing to work and put the effort into making this product and company a success take you place and you can find another company to milk for a few months till they figure out your lack of work ethic or selling skills.

    Hi Troll

Are you competitor and a disgruntled rep which didn't get hired? Or maybe the guy above bitching about being put on a plan for for not working.

If you knew anything about how this drug is delivered and metabolized you would how ignorant your post is. If you actually understand how Delexis works and how unique and incredible a delivery system it is and you can clearly educate your providers on this then you would know they totally get it and love the idea behind it.

Guess they didn't love the idea behind it chief. 31 territories closed and countless other poor victims put on a 30 day (including weekends) plan.

So listening comprehension isn't something your good at, explains why your on a an and cant sell this product. Of those 31 territories the majority were empty, very few reps were actually displaced. Those put on a plan. Well no sympathy for them, we all must be held accountable and if your not doing your part and selling product then it's time for you to change your habits and actually start paying your own way. If you cant sell it have less than 5 scripts you really should look at a different career, you clearly suck at being a pharma rep or worse your one of those reps who wants a paycheck but doesn't want to actually work for it

That was you wake up call - time to either start putting numbers on the board or find a different job. Rather than looking at this as a negative take advantage of the extra help and focus and put some numbers on the board
