If I resign and give a 2 week notice, will they pay me and allow me to finish out those two weeks, or once I turn it in, am I done.
No place will put you back in the field after a two weeks notice. you will be paid but you will be sent home
So I'll now answer my own question - Their policy (verses what you read in the policy manual) is the day you say "I am resigning" is your last day worked AND paid. No working out any kind of notice as a general rule. Also to note - your benefits will expire at the end of that month. So if you have a choice of quitting the last day of the month or the first day of the month take that into consideration.
Actually, they keep you on payroll until they get their stuff back and as long as you make some calls each workday up to that point. You are also entitled to a bonus payout for the last full quarter you worked.
Would they payout the bonus when everyone else gets paid their bonus if you did leave 3 weeks after the end of the quarter.
The bonus payout is the same time as those still employed. A check is mailed instead of direct deposit. Unless of course there is a policy change. The policy is available online. Download a copy before you leave.

If you are a woman, you will be paid till the end of your two-week notice. If You are a man, maybe not.
It depends on the contract but my experience is the when you resign that is your last day to get paid
I used to be a dm at quintiles. I had a rep quit and give 2 weeks notice. I had to fight with the regional to take the 2 weeks. He said he never heard of anyone ever giving the 2 weeks. I had never worked for a company that did NOT give the 2 weeks to the employee who was resigning. The policy states that they request 2 weeks notice. I guess there is a gray area that they request it, but they may not give it to you. It comes down to the management. There is no way to know if you will get the 2 weeks until you resign.
It varies from contract to contract, I have seen it both ways. For bonus, you must be employed on the day of payout with the exception of certain states due to state laws.
The contract doesn't matter in most cases. These things are handled in an arbitrary manner. Rules are applied differently depending on the managers, the person resigning and whether calls are still being reported.
