This is the same for just about every winning venture every involved with JNJ. Acquisition occurs, then all the JNJ mucky mucks take leadership roles at the 1 year point, then they all talk about the great opportunity and move to cut costs. Most often the leaders put in place have Z E R O experience in the therapeutic areas and cannot even do the jobs of the people that report to them. Sad...

The national Uptravi volume for Q2 is the highest in company history.

This translates to 88% goal attainment.

    No one is getting paid.

Ironically, 88% of our sales reps are currently interviewing with other companies.

I just hope my offer comes in before the POA. If I have to go role play & put on the fake enthusiasm- fml.

The fact that JNJ gave us a 36% Uptravi goal for the last 2 quarters shows that JNJ executives understand very little about rare disease markets, the doctors that treat PAH or how to incentivize rare disease reps.

The fact that Serge & Carlos agreed to this goal proves that they know even less than the ass hats that they answer to.

Actelion has been the leader in the PAH market for 20 years. Listening to & trusting the people that built this company should have been an obvious move. Instead- they've pushed out a majority of the truly brilliant & talented.

If by chance this is being read by anyone in leadership- every time you lose an experienced rep, dozens of patients will go untreated & die as a result. Or, more importantly to you (in spite of the Credo) JNJ loses millions of dollars in revenue.

The shit comp plan & shit benefit package (compared to ANY other rare disease company) will only bring in newbies with no rare disease experience to replace those of us with years of experience & years long relationships in key accounts. We can only make shit payouts for so long before we start answering those calls from recruiters. Which is why the revolving door continues to spin.

Letting higher paid reps to leave & replacing them with lower paid newbies...

Stepping on dollars to pick up dimes.

    POA WEEK!!

I hope we have a serious ice breaker. 75% of the meeting attendees have been hired in the last 6 months.

I dont want to role play 12 hours a day with strangers.

Our new objection handler- " Dr. Smith, I know I'm the 3rd new Actelion rep you've met this month but... I need strong sales numbers for my next job interview after I get a year of rare disease experience. I like you but I'll be moving on to ANY rare disease company that gives me an offer. It'll be bigger base, better benefits, more time off, better fleet option, better culture that isn't "profit first", and achievable sales goals which of course means- I'll get paid bonus!! So, will you plz write my drug to help a sister move up & out!?"

So how many more committees do we have working behind the scenes to come up with the next micromanaging tool?

    Another one bites the dust!

Just another Actelion veteran taking a better job for more money, FAR better benefits (they offer more than high deductible medical), got the year end shut down back, got the high end fleet back (no shit box Malibus!) & achievable goals!!

It breaks my heart to see whats left of what was once the best place on Earth to work.

    On to the greener pastures!!

Management, don’t you care? Raise our salaries, not our quotas 50-100%!
You are making it impossible to even come near quota

Management: NO we don’t care, you haven’t figured that out yet?! And for those of you who are hitting your quota...not so fast!
