We're down to 1 rep in most territories, you wont fund lunches. But you expect us to grow the business? Hello? Hello?
We need support to do our job or dont expect us to be having stellar numbers! This environment is beyond ridiculous! Are you just seeing who will take the daily beatings until Jan 1 until Sanofi sells off what's left of the diabetes franchise?

You need to learn how we do things here. Hold meetings, Analyze things to death using 20 year old data. Draft a plan of execution with almost no chance of success. Gain promotions and raises all around before launching the soon- to -fail implementation. When it fails, blame the people who replaced us. Failing that, blame the sales force. Then lather again, rinse and repeat. Its a tried and true method when you work in corporate with bonus incentives that are not tied to results

Funny how things come back around no matter what. When I started in 1968 there was one rep/territory and Merck had yet to invent the MD/rep lunch altho the dif was 90% of MDs liked to see reps and MDs made their own rules. Job was way less abstract and based in reality.

You beat me into the industry by 5 years, but I agree with your assessment. In the Chicago area, Pfizer started the lunch activity when procardia was launched. Pfizer also made their reps get doctors to sign a card confirming they saw the rep. 9 signatures a day. As we were all friends, other reps would sign the cards using different pens.

The good ole days. Concerts, sporting events, fishing trips, topless bar, golf . It was a dream job back then.

Sanofi is targeting to sell the diabetes franchise off completely by Q3 2021.

Selling off Diabetes has been a long standing rumor. Are you just stating your opinion, or do you have inside information to back this up?

Diabetes being sold has been rumored for years. Sanofi always does the unexpected. It could be tomorrow for all we know. After watching the shitshow meet the CEO debacle last week don you feel safe?

One never knows what Sanofi will do. Sanofi easily good venture into dog food market or dishwashing soap market. Fasten your seatbelts for the Thanksgiving Day annual layoff or announcement of pending cuts coming at 1st of the year.

Lunches do nothing for your business. You, pharma reps, are incompetent.

It’s not about business, it’s about metrics or mbo’s, something you don’t and won’t understand.

Sanofi management is all about metric. If Sanofi management thought that clubbing baby seals would increase scripts everyone would have club Fed Ex to them next day and they would wantt an action plan and top 10 list of how many baby seals you can club in a quarter.

All I do is get a few signatures for samples each day and fake the rest. Sanofi should just send docs an order form for insulin since we ship it anyway.
