Hsbd’s are already announced. New respiratory and metabolic directors will be announced late next week or early after Labor Day weekend.
Once the new regions are done, they will start consolidating base territories and getting rid of the few overlays left. Base territories reps to be cut in half with double the geographies for CV/MET in Q1 2020. Respiratory chopped by Q4 2020. Notice how all of the territories have even number of reps.
All the layoffs have been the same as far as WARN act. You get 60 days from the day you sit by the phone and find out. You are still an employee. You just don’t work for the 60 days. Then, your separation package begins/termination after the 60 days.
So do you think they will make an announcement in Oct. hoping for some natural attrition to occur before Q1 2020 and then make the cuts or go ahead and make the cuts in Oct and let WARN run through the forth quarter. This crap with them ending the year in Sept is about something more than just Veeva. Gimme a break!
If this is true, why are the Ashfield positions being filled right now with permanent employees? I realize that logic is not always present at BI, but why hire train and then sever? O
WARN acts are state by state and if they don't lay off more than the required or do it in stages, no notification is required.
During acquisitions and waiting for FDA approval/indications you see quick hire and layoffs but not internal preplanned structuring
So the CBDs found out last week and can't reveal until this week. Can't wait to get rid of our low performing "leader" that led us right to the bottom. So much growth, NOT!
