So it looks like they’ll get the oral version approved by end of year. That’s a game changer. What do you think happens to Trulicity?

Nationally I think it will even out our market share and I can even see Ozempic taking the lead. Hope we get our oral out soon with no delays

According to Wall Street, the first oral to market will dominate the market in the long run.

They will take the lead in market share and we will be playing catch up when our oral eventually gets approved

Well I’m new and just started here. When is our oral expected to hit the market? Will it be by the middle of the year next year?

Thanks! That was a very informative post. I hope to see you post more!
So I haven’t been here very long and this is pretty much my first job out of college. I’m just simply asking when our oral will hit the market? Sheesh

Of course it’s your first job out of college. By the time you figure out when Lilly will launch an oral GLP, novo should have close to all the market share in your territory. Good luck searching for the answers/

The dosing is horrible for the patient. Must be fasting, drink a certain amount of water, not eat for 30 minutes after taking. GI issues galore.

'Horrible' dosing? I guess that's how we're going to spin it, but face it- all patients have to do is take it with 4oz or less of water 30 min before breakfast. That's not really that difficult. I just looked at the PI

I agree. The dosing is really easy.
We are about to get our teeth kicked in with both Trulicity and Jardiance
This is a game changer & will really shake up the market

If you want to be honest here, clinically speaking both Victoza and Ozempic outperform Trulicity. Victoza and Trulicity had the same a1c drop, but Victoza provides more weight loss. Ozempic clearly has better a1c control and >twice the weight loss of Trulicity. Oral ozempic is superior to Victoza in their PI, which means this pill is going to be clinically superior to our injection. Let that sink in.
